Neat little program in Visual J#/Basic

Hello, friends. I'm in a quandrary.

I've downloaded both Visual Basic, and Visual J#, and am thinking of making the following stuff:

An auto-picture-harvester for 4chan
An auto-browser for another site I read, to simply mark stuff as "read".

Now, I haven't touched Java in almost 3 years, and Basic is beyond me, so does anyone have any helpful hints as to accomplishing this?

Wow, if VB is beyond you then you have failed and retain your official title as noob. Mind you, not all programmers know VB because they don't bother with gay languages like that anyways lol.
