Define obscure.
Some would call Lisp obscure because they've only heard of Java and C.
On the other hand Intercal is definitely obscure, and as the only language I know of in which "please don't give up" is a valid statement, it gets my vote.

I'm learning Forth at the moment. It's pretty odd. I got Chuck Moore's colorForth working, now I need to figure out what to do with it.

Nice idea but it already has one; colorForth uses it instead of ASCII.

What does a huffman encoder have to do with colorForth and ASCII? The text isn't in ASCII?

Its been ages since i've had an opportunity to program using HyperTalk. It was a great string processing language. Regular expressions are nice, but seem kinda kludgy in comparison.

SNUSP for the win. Obscure doesn't begin to describe it. You can actually have libraries in this 2-d language, but only if you can route your pipes and stuff like that properly :-D
