GPL isn't communist, programming has nothing to do with the proletariat. Free Software, by extension, also isn't communist.

BSD could be said to be anarcho-capitalist, which really equates to capitalist without profit. To me, BSD seems to just mean "you wrote this so your code could get buttfucked by whatever ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS PROVIDER hijacks it first". GPL, on the other hand, actually helps the community protect itself. GPL is true anarchist, in the style of all of the notable anarchist thinkers of both the early 20th century and contemporary figures, besides those fucking nutbag anarcho-primitavists.

Still, GPL is too weak. What the anarchist/free software movement really needs is a way to use the copyright system to steal copyright from other people that haven't licensed their code under the GPL, until all code is truly free.
