Hello people.
Let's cut to the question. I'm fairly new at the programming scene, and though I have a background in problem solving, when I need to throw something together for my physics projects or things like that, my skills are pretty scarce, programming wise. Of course, hacking together something simple under pico or SubEthaEdit is always nice, but for more complicated stuff I could use some help, and am looking for a simple, easy to use IDE.
I hear a lot about how good Xcode is, and I'm sure it is. But when I try to use it the wide array of features and power-user tools gets me a bit lost. So therefore, while I'm still learning, I'd appreciate it if someone could point me towards either a very noobie-friendly kiddy-grade IDE, or a VERY neophyte-friendly tutorial for Xcode.
I only work in C and C++, if that helps.
