I wanna start doing some flash work and before I go out to buy/download one of them programs - does anyone recomend anything?

I wanna do a lot of general flash works (I'm gonna buy a tablet after I get aquainted with all the little kinks and quirts).

so uhh, where to start? and are there places where I can get a discount or do you recomend full price for things?

the program to make flashes is called 'flash', by macromedia. the newest version is MX 2004. i recommend stealing it like everyone else.
