We should take things seriously.

Most people here have been working had not to take things seriously, being anonymous, trolling, joking around, but all that aside we are sapient beings in the real world. The words we type here are things that actually happened, when you decide to play an hour of video games or coaxing lelz out of folks over the internet, that is an hour of your life.

People believe that this is unnecessary anxiety, however it is quite possible to accept this fact and not feel anxious over it. It is quite possible to play "real life" as you would do so in front of a computer, with the same interest and amusement.
