Comparison of America and Russia

To those of you, who believes America is a bad country, lets compare America to Russia:

In America:
- Army Service is completely voluntary. Soldiers are well trained, well paid and respected professionals.
- Income tax is just 10% and first 10000$ don't even get taxed at all. You are free to pick your own pension fund.
- When you apply for a job in America, you get asked about your professional skills and that is all.
- Americans don't care if you atheist or visit Church or what church you visit, and if you support some political party or not - that is just you rightful opinion.
- Internet is mildly monitored.

In Russia:
- Army service is mandatory for all people under the age of 30. You cant get official job, without serving the army, because Military Ministry of Russia forbids companies to hire "deserters". You can't even leave Russia, without serving the army, because Russian Federal Migration Service requires military ID card from Military Commissariat. Major ways to avoid serving the country is falsifying schizophrenia or chopping a leg off. There is no professionalism in Russian army and homosexual culture is rampant - if you got into Russian military, you almost guaranteed to experience anal sex, unless you parents bribe the officers there.
- Income tax is just 15% and doesn't include your income. Moreover, you are forced to pay government for social securities (like pensions), you don't use anyway - basically Russian government forces you to pay for its pensioners.
- When you apply for a job in Russia, you are asked about your military ID card and forced to pay for mandatory (by government) medical examination (in government clinic). If you don't have money, when you apply for a job, then you are fucked. And you can't apply for a job, if you haven't served the army.
- The only two official religions are the branches of Orthodox Church and Sunny Islam (only for Islamic republics) - both are centralized and controlled by the government. You can be an atheist, but that would imply a multitude of social problems and problems with government, which basically requires all social servants to visit orthodox church, like the CPSU before.
- Internet is heavily monitored. Sites may be closed for just criticizing the Orthodox Church or the government.

ncome tax is just 15% and doesn't include your income LEVEL
IIRC, in America a rich would pay more % than the poor.

In Russia poor and rich are considered the same, so a Jewish multi-billionaire Abramovich and Vekselberg would pay the same tax as a poor farmer, selling potatoes on the street side.

In modern non-soviet Russia: OP molests federal slaves by mandatory executive order ! Also reciprocation of said sexual violation is punishable by death . Whistle-blowing leads to disappearance due to KGB. Meanwhile, Tom Cantor runs a Creationist Museum and laughs his way to the bank.

>- When you apply for a job in America, you get asked about your professional skills and that is all.

When you apply for a job in America, you get asked if you're a white Christian cisgendered heterosexual male. If yes, you are not getting the job.

In America:
- you can freely work and attend college in a US city of your liking, provided you have American citizenship.

In Russia:
- you have to get official permit to work in a city other the city of your registration; you have to renew this permit each month. This is the legacy of USSR laws, which forbade people to move between cities at all, without permit from government (i.e. in USSR one would have got a jail sentence for visiting Moscow without permit). Vladimir Putin has no rush liberalizing the law.

Males under age of 27 must serve by law, but there are exceptions. Such as  you have single parent with low income, you getting higher education, in this case you either relived of your obligation to server, or get a reprieve. Also, you don't have to falsify schizophrenia. you simply can bribe the medical commission off, and they set you any diagnosis you want, high blood pressure, gastric ulcer, stenocardia, you name it
Also, there are plenty of jobs you can apply without serving in the military, and the employer does'nt give a shit about you military service, unless you apply for a position of a policeman or military officer. But I know lots of people who are cops and they didnt serve. By 2017 Russian army is slated to be 100 percent contract and voluntarily

In US 31 states have budget deficit of 51 billion dollars (FY 2013), many cities are bankrupt per se, and have trillions of dollars of unfunded liabilities.America is bankrupt and soon will look like one giant Detroit.Shops get closed, people get laid off, 24 percent real unemployment and its getting worse.Police looks like a military, cops are trigger happy to kill people, and the gov snoops on your every poop

In Russia
Internet is not highly monitored as America's NSA, DHS,FBI whatever. US intelligence community comprises of 16 agencies with tens of billion dollars budget. Much many as in Russia

Comparison of America and Russia
Comparing the lands that nearly comprise an entire hemisphere to Russia? Well, the country is big enough, I guess.

Don't change these.
