What to do when privacy fails

Name: Task 2013-10-02 23:58

There's going to be a point in time when privacy becomes outdated because technology practically connects everything at all times. It may be in the next few generations, or much longer down the line. Has anybody thought about what happens to anonymity when it becomes impossible?

If you have do nothing wrong, what are you afraid of? Too many time, we have seem 'Anonymity' and keyboard warriors causing trouble and abuse like cyber bullying, pretend to be hot chick in fake photo to cheat stupid man or boys to undress and blackmail them with money or people slandering people without proof etc.

Still, I prefer to see boobs with unlimited access :D

>Cyber bullying
/b/ has killed dozens of people. Big fucking deal. People die, and if they die because of being retarded it was going to happen anyway.

By the way, only uninitiated shills use cyberbullying as a serious excuse. Get fucked.

hahahahaha cyberbullying how is that a thing you can just walk away from the computer holy shit

But seriously. Just because I want privacy doesnt mean I'm doing anything wrong.

I agree, the desire for privacy doesn't constitute suspicion.
But at some point or another, possibly in most of our lifetimes, privacy will become irrelevant.

Where do we draw the line in which advancement makes this reality?

Well, certainly parents should supervise, or at least properly warn their children from time to time that the Internet as a dangerous side to it. Though, I believe that you shouldn't be on the Internet until you're at least in your 20s, and even then its a case by case basis. As Paul Vixie said in 1994: "The Internet is not for sissies."
