Corporate Nonsense

Corporations can not be honest with you about what they are doing to you, your society, or your environment, so they encourage the use of "soft" language, disingenuous speech that seeks to avoid offending anyone by obfuscating, misleading, and stretching the truth until it is almost completely unrecognizable.

Of course, they know this offends some people, and they use this to place the spotlight on people whose honest demeanor would shed light on this deceptive practice.

It becomes so commonplace that it makes its way into every aspect of our lives, relationships, family gatherings, technology and scientific development, the list goes on and on.

The end result of this is a culture that abhors honestly, that despises clarity, and worships falsehoods and misdirections as a valid alternative to reality.

I admire this attitude.

As a longtime /b/tard I can do nothing but tell people the truth as I see it which offends everyone and makes me extremely unpopular. For instance the other day I straight up asked a dwarf about why he did not use embryo selection to prevent him passing his genes to his children, I kept my cool during the backlash, I tried to explain that I was merely talking about that single thing and it was not associated with any other political beliefs but they would not have it. The damage was done, it was not in my best interest to tell the truth, I certainly did not gain personally from it, yet I will continue to do so.

I envy corporations and their single minded devotion to profit, the way they watch their language and every word with no concern for what others think. Every single thing, no matter how minor, is all part of a calculating attitude towards everything, they do not even think of anything other than their sole purpose. It is kind of egotistical to care what others think just for the sake of it, is it not? At least they have their priorities straight, they never get distracted by irrelevant things like this, in a way they are better than I am.
