from January 2000 until early 2001.

Mr Berg maintained his Russian credentials were real and he is the victim of KGB conspiracies. He sa
id he has the equivalent of an Australian PhD.

"I deny any forging of my credentials," he said.

Mr Berg landed a job as consultant psychiatrist at Townsville Hospital in January 2000, a job he held for 12 months.
