A man was about to open his house door.

Man : "Oh no! I've forgotten my keys!

Thank goodness a locksmith had pasted his ad on my meter box."

Later...

Locksmith : "There, I've unlocked your door. That'll be $50."

Man : "You mean it's free of charge or I'll report you to the authorities for vandalising public property with your stickers..."

Legal Question : Should the man pay the locksmith and should the locksmith charged with vandalism ?

"I'll call your parents" is a empty threat that does nothing to bullies. It just gets your ass beat harder. Keep your mouth shut and actually call those parents and report their activity. Actions speak louder than words.

Wait, who ordered the lock-unlocker?

If he ordered the service, it's clearly no longer vandalism.

If the sticker was offensive, he wouldn't have ordered the service in the first place and the charge would stick.

If the locksmith changed the locks and then waited outside until the guy was locked out and then appeared out of nowhere to open /unlock his door and then charge him cash at gun-point for a service that the resident never asked for, then the criminal intent is more obvious. Anyone who says out-loud to a criminal what their intentions are will never live long enough to even have a opportunity to snitch.
