Death penalty

Guys, I really need your help. Please.

What are the odds that he will be kept from the death penalty and receive a life long sentence instead?
He was sentenced in 2004, and an execution date is not yet set. Is it likely that there will be any change in this case?

I can't promise you the chair but I think I can get him off with a hanging.  I'm sure it's safe; they haven't used that in years, so it must have been pretty hit and miss sort of thing.

Prisoners should be given work that would otherwise be below minimum wage.

No need to have guards oversee everything, it's either work diligently without stealing anything or spend the next month of your jail term in your cell.
