That was just a public face.

Nazis tried to heal Germany from Christianity influence and for that they had to break Christianity from inside, dismantling its evil dogmas one by one.
You're probably referring to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Positive_Christianity They pretty much picked and chose which parts of the Christian religion appealed to them and stuck with that, not unlike contemporary Christians today.
admired Nietzsche (pagan philosopher)

Nietzsche's religious beliefs are generally referred to as being "atheist". He certainly was a non-theist of some sort. His writings describe some religions in a more positive light than others, but that's not the same as believing in them.
Hitler's Table Talk, a revealing collection of the Fuhrer's private opinions, assembled by a close aide during the war years, shows Hitler to be rabidly anti-religious. He called Christianity one of the great "scourges" of history, and said of the Germans, "Let's be the only people who are immunized against this disease." He promised that "through the peasantry we shall be able to destroy Christianity." In fact, he blamed the Jews for inventing Christianity.

I.e. Nazis broke it, by restoring Swastika. Then Nazis broke other commandments by expropriating Jewish property and killing God Chosen Jews.
They rejected the Old Testament. Christ and the whole religion about him is all New Testament. Old Testament is just included as a long back story.
So Nazis were totally pagan
You could make the argument that Alfred Rosenberg and a few other of the Nazi leaders were pagan, or held pagan beliefs, and that if the Nazi regime lasted longer than twelve years, it would have eventually infused "Positive Christianity" with pagan influence and their racial outlook to create a new "hybrid" religion of sorts. Of course that's going into speculation, what's written and recorded is historical fact, Hitler was a Catholic, and he professed his belief at every opportunity.
