2. If you live in the US (as I do) then depending on which income tax bracket you fall under you are probably paying historically low taxes. It is a myth that American taxes are high right now (compared to past tax rates). This may or may not be why the infrastructure has been declining in quality.
3. Something does need to be done about the crony-capitalist elites running the federal reserve, but I don't understand being anti-federal government. I think most states would suck at running themselves. See
