so the wall street protests finally started

Name: Anonymous 2011-09-26 11:55

I'm glad this is happening because the corporatists need a slap, the problem is 99.9% of them are retards who don't really have a legitimate argument.

http://www.taiwannews.com.tw/etn/news_content.php?id=1718152

As /b/ says, "YFW all Wall Street protestors are either hippies, feminists, hipsters, spics or niggers and not a single real white man."

"ear Euroscum and Hippy retards
People in the US couldn't give a flying fuck about these pieces of trash
Most hard working people in the US wish they would have just shot these pieces of shit

We don't have to riot or protest here we do the civilized thing, we vote.
These Faggots want to skip the democratic process, and get their way by bitching and "civil disobedience"

PROTIP: ignoring a lawful order and being a fucktard and blocking people's right to travel gets you maced and arrested.

Please tell me more about how I am a slave, and am being forced to do things i don't want to and I will laugh at you, the US has the most upward class mobility of any country on the planet

so please fuck off back to whyweprotest.net and reddit /b/ doesn't give a fuck"

"Because it's fucking stupid. This "cause" hasn't even been clearly defined yet, it's just a clusterfuck of lefty and hippy idiots whinging about things in general. What are these protests going to actually achieve in material terms? Fuck all, just like most protests. If you want to make a positive difference in the world, holding up a sign and being a public nuisance isn't the way to do it."

">dirty hippie liberal hipsters
>start a commotion, treat cops like shit
>surprised when they get the beat-down"

Name: Anonymous 2011-09-26 12:57

I don't get what you're trying to say, are you supportive or opposed to these protests?

So much this. I wonder how many of them are crying "police brutality!" right now?

The US has a huge gap between its rich and poor (in comparison to other industrialized nations). I'm surprised the protests haven't happened much sooner.

Name: Anonymous 2011-09-27 3:13

Except the protestors all seem to be middle class students with a lot of free leisure time.

Name: Anonymous 2011-09-27 6:20

For the time being. They're protesting because they have no financial future. Not to mention the fact that the American middle class is slowly being squeezed out of existence.

That's the key point, it's not the proletariat who are protesting and the protestors are corrupted and neutered by retarded leftist ideology.

protestors are corrupted and neutered by retarded leftist ideology.
I doubt any of them are social democrats. The two main parties when examined on a sane political spectrum scale are actually right-wing (Democrats, center-right, Republicans, to the right of that. Minus of course the few actual leftists in Congress, Kucinich and Sanders come to mind). The protesters are most likely your average pot-smoking college-bound boys and gals, and are protesting the financial sector (which did have a helping hand in fucking things over), and they're misguided to be sure, but one thing they are right about is that most aren't going to have a future with the current path that the US is on.

So it begins. Gibbering idiots with no coherent message will now march in the streets and be very annoying to people who actually have jobs and need to get to work.

It's so nice to see people living off mommy and daddy pretending to be important.

Sounds more like the Tea Party. Both movements seem to have the time to go out of their way to protest what they dislike.

The New York Times quoted one Occupy Wall Street veteran telling a newcomer: “It doesn’t matter what you’re protesting. Just protest.” That captures the coherence of the exercise, which is a giant, ideologically charged, post-adolescent sleepover complete with face paint and pizza deliveries.

Bloomberg has a thing or 2 to say about these capitalism hating hipsters.

http://www.businessinsider.com/bloomberg-to-protesters-help-the-banks-dont-protest-them-2011-10

It's obvious the protests are more about the protestors than anything, to get likeminded people out of the woodwork and on to the bandwagon. The timing is a bit unusual also at the start of the academic year which is a critical period for students.

And the Tea Party rallies didn't evolve into that?  They started out being a few people against government taxation and evolved into an anti-government, anti-Obama orgy that FoxNews and the Republicans co-opted for their own purposes.

Sure, there are fringe elements attracted to these protests that confuse and degrade the message.  But the core message, that the Banks and Investment Traders are pillaging the economy for their own personal gain is sound.

Name: Anonymous 2011-10-05 9:57

They have no future because they waste time protesting instead of studying.  If they would put half as much time, money and effort into educating themselves instead of traipsing across the country to make an appearance at a protest party with semi-literate signs, they would have a future.  They also should have majored in something other than ethnic studies and philosophy.

There are futures to be had -- in science, in business, in technology, etc.  It's not the banks fault that they CHOSE to waste their money studying stupid subjects rather than learn a skill.  They have no one to blame but themselves if they have no future.

Now that the lieberal elite have finally taken notice, the lefty fags are marching in with the unions, collage fags and the usual propagandists. Just like the brown shirts they are...

I suspect that these are the usual Obama fags getting desperate since he lost his thunder. They see it all falling away.

We need to help stir this up and hope it boils over. If we could ignite a riot, we could get a lot of lulz out of this. This will be hard core porn for me if things go very bad. Remember, these are young fags with no morals.

Now if only we could get some angry Muslims in on this...it would be the perfect storm.

Name: Anonymous 2011-10-05 22:09

MoveOn.org is getting involved in addition to the unions. We're seeing the big money political groups getting involved.

Corporate culture is killing American culture. The Southwest used to look like the southwest. Vegas used to look like Vegas. The colonial northeast used to look colonial. Tropical Florida used to look like tropical Florida. Now everything looks like "one size fits all" Wal-Mart, McDonald's, and model homes. Public arenas used to be landmarks named after great people who contributied to their cities; now they're named after corporate spnosors and covered in ads.

We're losing our identity as people to corporate brand recognition. Even what we wear, listen to, watch, and even how we act are all being decided for us by corporations. It's getting ridiculous. This is why many Europeans don't like Americans and see our way of life as invasive. We're killing ourselves as a people to make corporations happy with seeing us as "consumers for products" and not as people, and that needs to stop.

Break the chains of the right left, us versus them, paradigm. It will only serve to distract.

Do not allow yourselves to be taken over the democrats/republicans, down that path lies failure.

Beware instigators. There will be those who will try to convince you to commit violence, vandalism or other illegal acts. Shun and ignore them.

Realize that the media will try to make you appear illegitimate. Defeat their attempts by doing nothing illegitimate. First they mock you...

Avoid issues of emotion and divisiveness, focus on that which unites you. The media, which is the tool of the enemy, keeps the masses focused on issues like gay marriage, abortion, socialism. While these issues are important to many, those battles are for later and in many cases are impossible to resolve in todays world.

Find mechanisms by which the common man identifies with you. If they see a person in khaki's and a polo, someone like them, being maced the outrage will grow.

Find a few uniting issues that EVERYONE will get behind. For example:

- The federal reserve system fosters corruption and the redistribution of wealth from the many to the few. It must be abolished

- The large international banks are the enemy. Throughout history those who inspire and are admired have fought the international bank. Emulate them.

- The wars are the tools of the banks, who fund both sides just like they profit on both sides of each bubble. They care naught for the deaths of our troops, or the civilians of other lands.

- Glass–Steagall must be restored. This is one of the main tools by which the banks defeat us.

There will be more.

It has come to my attention that people who want socialism or communism or any other form of society where they are not rewarded on performance usually have little to offer society and are in fact envious of people who do.

Narcissists have difficulty seperating their own subjective desires from objective reality, they do not view another person's good fortunes as merely an event, they take it personally and see it as something that should have been bestowed upon them. This thought process also explains the marxist fondness for utopias in which their subjective fantasies are made reality and naturally everyone gets a perfectly equal share so no narcissist feels spited (narcissists believe everyone shares their perspective), it's kind of their way of reconciling the existence of other people, cute in a way, but disturbing in all others.

Name: RedCream 2011-10-13 14:12

Name: Anonymous 2011-10-13 18:32

Dear idiots saying the protests are populated by hippies and liberals,

I am a capitalist.  I believe in the free market.  I believe that men should be rewarded for ingenuity and effort.

I am not a socialist.  I do not believe that a man should be able to get a bailout from the government.  I do not believe welfare should be given to those who cannot support themselves, whether it be private citizen or enormous bank.  To me, there is no such thing as "too big to fail."

If you were genuinely conservative, if you truly held to the ideals of a free market, if you actually understood the volumes of Ayn Rand you read, then you would support these protests for your own reasons.

However you like it, there some facts you cannot ignore.  These facts include the following:

The protests are spreading.

People are angry.

If we cannot have change through peaceful demonstration, then it will come through violent overthrow.

If you are not involved in the movement, your voice will not be heard.

If a conservative, capitalist voice is not present, then the liberal, socialist voice will most certainly be heard, and will shape the future without input from reasoned temper.

Every American, regardless of political affiliation, should support OWS.  If you fail to speak now, do not be shocked when you are not listened to in the future.

Yours truly,
