So I was listening to some radio, and this guy said he certainly didn't want another four years of Obama.
But that bugged me, because I don't think Obama has done that bad over the past four years. The recovery has been slow, but he's been working under difficult conditions. I think he was a better choice than McCain, and I don't think that the Republican candidate is likely to be moderate this coming election.
And personally ever since reading about his new plan to cut oil and energy subsidaries whilst raising taxes is a good plan. I'm lower-middle class and I pay a higher percentage of taxes than people making much much more than me, and that really bugs me because it only contributes to the shrinkage of the middle class.

Implying that you want a moderate this coming election.

If there were a candidate I believed to be better than Obama then I'd watch him closely, but as I see it none of the Republicans are really that promising.
Hell, the President hardly even matters -- Congress is in control of the budget.

there isn't a magic bullet that will fix all the problems. debt must be paid down. it's not like republicans are going to enact any kind of plan that will result in the deficit decreasing. they're going to do just like bush did, talk about cutting spending and then cut a few social programs while increasing military spending and corporate welfare by more than the amount they cut.
the republicans' entire plan to increase revenue is to cut taxes and hope that it stimulates the economy enough so that the growth causes the total amount of taxes paid to eventually make up for the initial cuts in revenue at some point in the future (which never happens). in the meantime of course it's more borrowing and economic tricks to stave off catastrophe.
obama's plan is difficult to swallow because it means we have to sacrifice on both ends (spending and taxes) right now because that's the only way to fix the foolishness of the bush years. however it is an actual, workable plan.

See that's what it seemed like to me. I've played around with online 'Fix the U.S. Budget' simulations and such and from what I know about economics already cutting taxes won't do a damn.
It just struck me as odd that some people, particularly radio talk show hosts, didn't really understand how okay Obama was doing.

Still promoting an economic death spiral as a solution? Eh?
Obama is bad as Bush. Why are we still occupying Muslim nations? Obamacare? Gitmo? Getting search raped at the airport.
At least he plays golf all day and takes 100 vacations a year. Not bad for an empty suit that can't think for himself.

Anti-Obama sentiment usually falls under several categories:
1. Republican who hates anyone who is a Democrat
2. Liberal disappointed in Obama's centerist policies
3. Revenge fan who is disappointed that Obama hasn't stuck it to Republicans the way Bush/Cheney stuck it to Democrats
4. Racist who just doesn't like him because he's black.

Trillions spent for failed attempts at socialism.
Attempt at forcing the American people to buy insurance.
Start another war.
Not ending Bush's wars.
Extending the PATRIOT act.
Guantanamo prison remains open.
Seriously, fuck him. He did NOTHING but shit these 4 years.

lower corporate taxes...that's the big argument....operating costs in the U.S. are too high and no one (Obama included) has stood up to take proper leadership to attempt to correct this while balancing the budget.
Besides...most politicians aren't capable...they rely on think tanks and then fail at applying the philosophies and science to correct the matter.

#2 and #3 for me. But replace "centrist" with "center-right".

Not to mention he's letting all of our dough get absorbed into big oil through gas prices. Not caring who collects, and refusing to do anything about this problem with his "too many running vehicles carbonizing the atmosphere..If you pay more you will drive less and it will benefit. Its gonna be tough..." bullshit notions. It takes fuel to transport everything (food, products, etc) and as gas stays ever so high, everything else that exists is increasing with it so as to make up the difference, so EVERYBODY PAYS whether you drive or not. Companies have to cut costs somehow, eliminating jobs makes for big savings in that case. Way to go, Obongo! >>7 is either
1. Nigger
2. a Liberal
3. Gay
4. a Non-US citizen

Everything bad that has occurred during Obama's tenure has been as a direct result of Republican activity, filibustering when out of power, and completely trashing the political and economic system once they took back congress.
American's solution to the problem? Elect more Republicans!!!
'At least he plays golf all day and takes 100 vacations a year.'
Obama has taken the fewest holidays of any President. By this time in their Tenure, Bush had racked up over 300 days off, and Reagan over 400.
Obama so far has taken 90 something.

it's hilarious how fags like >>4,>>5,>>12 and >>13 still think he's doing a good job and these kinds of wacko policies can work when they clearly haven't, the wars have increased, the debt is higher than it's been under most any republican (compare 1982 to 2010) and unemployment continues to rise. You have to be a nigger lover or some sort of nigger chum, there is no other logical explanation.
This poster is why I can't take conservatives seriously. Thry claim their arguments are not racially motivated, but then can't resist throwing a 'nigger' or two around in what they say.
All this brouhaha about disrupting the Democrat primaries to throw off Obama, is just a smokescreen. They will STILL support Obama; there's no question about a party supporting their incumbent. But they will try to use the false conflict to get Obama more in line with Liberal causes and less in line with his now constant corporate socialism.
