American left wing subversion of democracy

Name: Anonymous 2011-09-19 5:13

These left-wing socialists want to communize the American people with their radical Marxist agenda, big-government spending, illegal bank bailouts, institute certain things where doing Obamacare suicide machine killing good Christian, murder white family, childrapist gay marriage faggots, baby torture and murder, don't fearing the love of God and chemical pumping the atmospheric gases enslaving souls. Vote Republican for saving America.

At least that's what I heered on Fox News.  And they wouldn't lie.

Name: Anonymous 2011-09-19 11:55

The right wing is bad too but it's more fun to rip on liberals because the belief they are edgy rebels and more enlightened than everyone else is rarely challenged while conservatives expect their faith to be mocked.

Even edgier are those who become conservatives simply because edgy liberalism is too mainstream for them now. Everyone else is going left, so they impulsively go right.

Most western democracies are actually going in a rightward direction. David Cameron with the Conservative Party in the UK, Nicolas Sarkozy and Union for a Popular Movement in France, Angela Merkel and the Christian Democratic Union in Germany, etc. Obama (and most of the Democratic Party), is popularly seen as leftist in the US, however his polices closely mirror that of most moderate conservatives in Europe and elsewhere.

So europe is all hard left communists posing as "conservative" and "moderate"
And that somehow makes the leftists in america, not leftists?

Ah. I didn't realize that I was talking to someone that's terminally brain-dead. My condolences. I wish you the best of luck in recovering your cognitive abilities (assuming you had any in the first place).

Both the left and right are thoroughly mainstream, it's only the left who pretend otherwise. At the very least they pretend as you do, that they're still the underdogs but that they're growing rapidly. Of course apparently they've always been growing, the revolution is always around the corner, when Carter or Obama get elected the big changes will finally happen, but the revolution never comes around, nothing ever happens and it won't.

It don't give a shit how edgy something is or whether it's conformist or non-conformist, I just like taking the piss out of people who do think this.

Correlation between a higher IQ and voting democrat.

Correlation, in already developed nations, between a higher IQ and being socialist.

William James Sidis, the man with the  highest IQ ever of between 250-300, knowing 49 languages and attending Harvard at age 11 (he could have gotten in at 10), was a socialist (and an atheist for that matter).

Now tell me, why is conservatism more intelligent when the people promoting it are less intelligent?

By your logic the less intelligent a person is the more say they should have politically. Lets head over to a mental institution and find our next president.

(And IQ means everything btw, you're not going to learn 49 languages at a rate of 1 every 2 days with an IQ of 100, nor are you going to analyze politics as well as someone with an IQ of 250)

Argument from authority, intelligent people are not omnipotent, just because they have a propensity to believe in something does not mean it's correct.
Causation does not imply correlation, there could be other reasons behind why they vote democrat.
Continuum fallacy, intelligence comes in many forms, Sidis was good at languages but not necessarily ethics, philosophy, politics and economics. For someone with supposedly such a high IQ he achieved very little compared to his peers, he did not compose beautiful symphonies, he did not solve any mathematical conundrums, he did not start an investment partnership and become a billionaire and he did not develop a technology.
Association fallacy, not all intelligent people are socialist atheist democrats. Why aren't you looking into the intelligent people who reject marxism?

It is no accident that capitalism has brought with it progress not merely in production but also in knowledge. Egoism and competition are, alas, stronger forces than public spirit and sense of duty. In Russia, they say, it is impossible to get a decent piece of bread. ..Perhaps I am over-pessimistic concerning state and other forms of communal enterprise, but I expect little good from them. Bureaucracy is the death of any achievement.
- Albert Einstein

"A planned economy is not socialism. A planned economy as such may be accompanied by the complete enslavement of the individual. The achievement of socialism requires the solution of some extremely difficult socio-political problems: how is it possible, in view of the far-reaching centralization of political and economic power, to prevent bureaucracy from becoming all-powerful and overweening? How can the rights of the individual be protected and therewith a democratic counterweight to the power of bureaucracy be assured?"
- Albert Einstein

"An autocratic system of coercion, in my opinion, soon degenerates. For force always attracts men of low morality, and I believe it to be an invariable rule that tyrants of genius are succeeded by scoundrels. For this reason I have always been passionately opposed to systems such as we see in Russia."
- Albert Einstein

"I didn't write that I was an absolute pacifist but that I have always been a convinced pacifist. That means there are circumstances in which in my opinion it is necessary to use force"
- Albert Einstein

In which case he would have had an extremely low EQ and wouldn't be able to empathise (he described his perfect lifestyle as "secluded)

I know plenty of smart people who have no clue how economics works

Some are at least a bit misanthropic, this is no surprise.

Association fallacy, not all intelligent people are socialist atheist democrats. Why aren't you looking into the intelligent people who reject marxism?
You've just ironically committed the association fallacy, yourself. "Socialism", in modern political discourse, is often attributed to social democrats, and they reject the dogmatism of Marxism/Lenninism/Trotskyism/Stalinism/etc. Also, many would be in agreement with the quotes you threw up there by Einstein.

Wait...you people are actually implying that IQ has anything to do politics. I think political fags are getting pretty desperate if you're even trying to entertain that sort of faggotry.

Politics is nothing but irrational monkeys screaming at each other. You start to realize the true nature of the game and how truth has nothing to do with it.

IQ has to do with a lot of things. Politics is just one example.

You declare yourself smart. You call people stupid if they disagree with you. You pretend that you win arguments that way and are very clever.

Bullshit. Wisdom != IQ This is about belief, opinions and desire.

You declare yourself smart.
I never said that.
You call people stupid if they disagree with you.
Largely depends on what they're arguing about and the content of their argument.
You pretend that you win arguments that way and are very clever.
You sure seem to think you know all about me, an anonymous poster, just from one post.
