War = Collectivism

War is almost always a result of some form of collectivism. You never see someone fighting a war strictly for themselves, unless they're a mercenary. War is fought for the state or for the nation; concepts such as these are inherently of a collectivist mindset. Why do armies encourage obedience? There is no such thing as an army of individuals. Armies are a hive mind, and for good reason. Control and dominance are the ultimate goals of war mongers, not freedom or peace. Look at Nazi Germany. People like to say they're right-wing but they worshiped the state. The military is funded with taxes, and soldiers expect us to respect them when they can't even see that they're being swallowed up by the collective identity of the military. Soldiers are simply welfare queens, and no self-respecting capitalist or individualist should support the military. Wars are the result of sacrifice to the collective will; the ego is non-existent to the mind of the indoctrinated slave-soldier. If everyone acted in their own rational self-interest war would cease to exist, simply because forming an army would be a Sisyphean task.

Well, religion is collectivist too. Why would a rational person sacrifice his ego for a destructive and degrading ideology like Islam. The worship of God is the negation of yourself. There is little difference between a communist and a fundamentalist. In my utopia, however unlikely, people would put themselves above others, and that includes deities. Even if God or Allah did exist, he was not elected democratically. Worship of anyone but yourself is inherently immoral. Again, I'm not saying this will happen, but it's the best outcome I see for society.

i know for sure there is something out there... something that cannot be perceived by the crude senses... but something that can be perceived (interacted with) by people who bring themselves in heightened states of sensitivity.

of course... if you spend all day chasing pussy fast cars and apple products, slurping starbucks whilst paying for your daughter's boob job, if you surround yourself day in day out with concrete and metal and then use drugs and video games to "escape", if you never go off the beaten path...
