the world would still be a better place with global capitalism because the economy would at least be united. We will be capable of things we never thought possible, with all these multi-nationals trying to milk technology for all it's worth, if anything is feasible it will inevitably end up in R&D and they will quickly find uses for it and with all the world's resources at their disposal resource intensive activities like mining the moon or building giant solar farms in nevada will be all that much closer to becoming reality.
