Why do blacks hate slavery?

This may sound like a stupid question.

Yet I'm wondering why do they hate slavery,
after all if it weren't for slavery in the U.S.A,no blacks or hardly any would be in my country today...

Blacks disliked slavery because they were the slaves. Slavery is still legal in all black countries today.

We are being educated that all of us are equal as a human being. This value is intensely tied to self-esteem, which can be threatened and diminish easily due to a variety of reasons.

Sometimes you can wake up all of a sudden at night, feeling totally ashamed of your bad memory of high school. That kind of memory can haunt you forever.
I guess slavery is that sort of thing, which strongly make the black feel bad, mistreated, and ashamed.

To put myself in other's shoes, I understand whites are always told about their faults and mistakes they committed in the past. But, there have been a lot of huge contributions toward the whole human race. I have been trying to have a balanced view and not to have any judgement or discrimination towards anyone. I'

Of course evolution occurs in humans, people who are logical and understand this yet still argue over racial issues tend to be discussing semantics rather than any specific scientific point, there are many mixes of races, many of which are not recent at all such as the spectrum of arab to negro as you go down the nile, there is also the fact that differences between individuals are greater than differences between races which adds significance to any debate on how to respond to racial differences.
