Socialists thinks its okay take/steal money from other people.

Then it doesn't matter if they think the money will be spent better, its NOT their money.

For some reason stealing can be legal, just if over the half of the population agrees...

How did this unbelievable sick idea came through in countries such as Denmark?

The point where you miss is blaming modern socialism. [Disclaimer: I'm a socio-liberal] That's the point where most people miss, actually. Modern socialist societies aren't built upon the raw socialism of Marx and Lenin, because that wouldn't work. Communism didn't work either. Nor does raw capitalism work. What works is a fine blend of different ideologies. Why? Because people are different. In order to accept their (elected) leaders, they have to have /something/ in common.
Would you like to have a president, who you had /nothing/ in common with? Don't think so; I wouldn't.
