Long live WikiLeaks. Anybody against it is against free press and free speech.

Who needs wikileaks, just dump the files as a torrent.

Oh boy, who brought this thread back? I thought we'd all gotten bored of that clown Ass-Ange and his studid "I changed the world because I think I did" group.
I'm not crazy, I'm not a troll. But, I love the Matrix, Stephen King's Dreamcatcher and Food Incorporated.
If any of you hate the corporations like Cargill, Perdue (if you speak french, this name is ironic) and the destruction that others like them are wreaking upon the earth and humanity in the name of profit, then I invite 4chan to expose them. Take the red pill, and the most rocking trip since time began.
If I have inadvertantly posted in the wrong board, please forgive me and direct me to another. This same message will appear again and again until Anonymous finds it and chooses to act. or not. I mean, it's up to them. But, if they've successfully targeted Scientology then American corporations and special interests ought to be a piece of cake.
Ready for the revolution?
Julian my albino baby, if you're reading this and you are ready to target the real enemy instead of wasting time with powerless governments (read Marx if you haven't already) then get with the program. Or don't. But good luck in Sweden anyway. Don't be afraid, and don't isolate your friends.

I'm hiding and waiting to be found. But I'll never act unless you find me. And I'll never act at all, only make you act. WAKE UP NOW.

No, you piss off and take this thread with you. I'm sick of Assange even existing in the media. He goes round leaking documents that weren't his in the first place, claims to be this guy who fights for truth and freedom for everyone, then is caught declaring that informants (y'know, informants like the ones who blow whistles and help other people and gave him the fukcing documents in the first place) deserve to die, then gets buttmad that information is leaked on him when he should have looked ahead and known that everything would be fair game regardless of whether it was on his enemies or himself, hires an anti-Semite to represent Wikileaks in Russia and then has the gall to blame the Jews on all his troubles concerning his extradition case? What a fucking hypocrite. Why do you clowns still defend this sucker? Please, don't use the "Because he fights to expose our corrupt governments" because that's gotten tired and old. Please, think of a logical answer that doesn't involve that. Please try and actually think of something with any degree of weight.

Regardles of assange, cablegate has already ben usefull in many cases and I'm sure it will be in many more. Today I was reading an article about the situation in lybia and some of it was based on information from wikileaks. Don't be too quick to judge the effect of cablegate. There's so much information out there that even if journalists weren;t biased and did a good job, they wouldn't be able to inform the public well enough. Even though wikileaks is far from panacea and assange is far from being the perfect representative, I see it as a first step in the right direction. Where the public informs itself and by decentralizing the frow of information we can become more informed as a whole. Indymedia is also worth mentioning in this respect.
Anyway, since governments have interest in hiding the truth and the media fail to handle the amount of information in a globalised world, I think it makes absolute sense for the people to inform each other.

Use your own brain! I don't need to prove anything to you.

Assange is just a figure representing a much larger organization. Even without him, Wikileaks will continue functioning. You can hate him as much as you want, but the fact is that these documents will continue to be presented to the public, because larger corporations with self-interest will not.
