What, you mean the west that has stolen everything they liked from the third world at gunpoint and through slavery? The west that got rich through genocide? The ones that poisoned the whole planet? I wouldn't be very proud of this.

Plus, the west didn't invent those things you mentioned, certain people did. And they're not giving it out to the world for free. They charge an arm and a leg for it. Therefore, it's stupid to be proud of these things as you have no more connection to these people than the people in Africa do.
