I'm not sure I fully understand you, but I have no strong opinions on economics. I do think that technological/scientific progress is extremely important, and that colonization by adavanced nations of primitive regions has caused immense progress for the human race. If the Americas were left untouched, there is no way the Native Americans would have contributed even a tiny fraction of what the modern nations in the Americas have contributed to the advancement of the human race.
