So much, I try to debate people of other ideologies on the internet (usually so-called "libertarians"), but they just throw slogans. I know some smart ones exist, I haven't found them yet, though.

"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" isn't subjective, it actually meant something very objective.
Of course then uneducated intellectuals rose and freedom and liberty gets corrupted into meaning "free of wants" such as free health care..etc and liberty into liberty from the consequence of my choices (bailouts). Happiness gets corrupted into "whatever I feel like doing a whim" such as crack cocaine or whatever the hell else.
Anyhow, my 2 cents is Libertarians on a comparative scale is better than the two main parties. But their philosophy is still wonky and sometimes crosses into anarchism.
