You're not really defending Wikileaks by attacking those individuals with DDoS, are you? you're just attacking individuals who have decided Wikileaks is too controversial to support.  You may as well target individual households because a percentage of the populace not supporting the "cause of Wikileaks" is more damaging than just being denied funding through a public route.
