We are those who care...

We rally ourselves to promote a polemic, to change, scratch the gritty surface of an eclipsing wall.

Ephemeral shapes, risen by the spirit, the wafting clouds of ideas and betterment. Grasping at this smoke, trying to envision it as real, real enough to hold on to. Real enough to tug on and pull us out of and above the 'dark as night' waters we barely catch breath from.

What sparks us to propel against the darkness below? an endless nothingness we fear and find familiarity with as our final resting place, our home. Maybe that is why the dying breed give it such grace is their minds.

Hope in humanity, clutching to reality, distraction from the irreverence of life's truth, triviality. How deeply can one reach inside their own gut and struggle with the beast to cast fire in to the sky and ignite a signal so bright that it marks existence for eternity.

Would you let me live within this memento?
Would you give me a bit longer?
Please.
