How do you hurt the U.S. financially/revolt?

Looking for a form of civil disobedience. Don't buy anything? Buy gold? Live off the land?

I don't understand your question. What do you mean by to "hurt the U.S. financially"? And revolt, don't buy anything, buy gold, and live off the land? What exactly are you asking here?

He is likely asking for a methodology that involves not feeding a beast.

The U.S government feeds off of the peoples labor through a fictitious currency system putting value on the work of the people.

The government in turn is meant to trade their labor (as in goods and services) that benefit the country for services of their own to benefit the communities to help their economies thrive.

OP must feel that the government is not doing this, and wants to revolt against a system that does not trade fairly with the common people. To do this, the people must not benefit the government as to not allow them to misuse a given power.

He is looking for a way to starve the government as a way of revolt. But seeing as the government has the capability to inflate the currency by creating more money to spend (decreasing the worth of the common peoples money - a silent tax) They won't feel threatened by the lack of support of their people until there is no interaction and the people decide to follow a new government / control and ignore the current ones fictitious regulations and currency.

The best way to revolt is to just get a group of people with common principles and start printing and using your own money (doesn't even have to be gold backed). Though it may seem none violent, if you do this the government will make it violent soon enough.

Perform the meticulous research and study required to reveal the causes of problems in society, obtain a law degree or enlist the help of someone with qualifications and experience in that area and devise a solution. This will probably take at least 5 years, assuming you have some kind of talent or gifted intelligence, and a lot of your free time and money, also unless you can list both the benefits and drawbacks of your proposed solution then you will have failed because nothing is perfect and you will only be revealing yourself to be just another wingnut.

Get going.

How hard would it be to buy everything online and only pay in Yen?  I think if you can avoid doing business with America and are too poor to pay taxes, you are pretty much out of the US economy.

Well I don't want to support any country on the planet.

You say that because you believe you shouldn't have to tolerate society's nonsense, but really you're just selfish and unable to make the compromises needed for people to live together in peace.

You are not capable of a self sustainability anywhere near a quality you are getting right now. No where near.

Remove internet, remove hot water from a tap, remove sewers, remove food variety and supermarkets etc. You have to remove the benefits of society to enjoy the benefits of being away from society and it is much easier to split the burden and streamline labor through society than to have to make your own shampoo and make your own plates and make your own Iphone 4g.

If a societies control has become corrupt, then by all means, separate the hardworking and you will prosper even more, but in all measured cases, the lazy will latch on to hard working communities.

I do that, but I also make sure to buy whatever little stuff is still actually made here in the US as well. If not here, then at least if it were manufactured in another western nation.
