Legalize small amounts of pot. Take the money out of it for cartels.
Build a GODDAMN wall, and have ICE deport every illegal they can find. Screw these liberals, lrn2enforce current law.
Change the law to where in order to be born a U.S citizen, at least one of his/her parents must have U.S citizenship already.

That's pretty much how it already works, it takes a LONG ass time if you don't have American relatives.
Why do illegals come to America? For a job, to work.
Why do American business owners hire illegal aliens? Because they can pay less than minimum wage, no risk of being sued, get to keep the tax money.
Why are Americans under 25 experiencing high unemployment? They are priced out of the labor market because they lack skills and experience, and employers are forced to pay more than they are worth to hire them legally.
Yes, we can 1 - turn back the tide of illegal immigration, 2 - increase tax receipts, 3 - drastically cut unemployment, especially among youth and minorities, by eliminating the federal minimum wage.

My idea for this was to change it thus that only a child born of two American citizens is granted automatic citizenship. For in vitro fertilization, the child's status is based on the mother and spouse, not the origin of the donor; for foreign adoption under age of twelve, unless the child has had a significant history of foreign adoptions to this country prior to the current, he must take a citizenship test on or before 18.
At the very least, changing this would mean dangerous and unhealthy border running by pregnant women would decrease (they'd wait until after the pregnancy, since there would be no benefit?).

Many immigrants are drug dealers. The black market is dangerous and is what causes violence--not the actual drugs. Legalize or decriminalize drugs--or even just pot, hell--you take away power from the black market. There are no negatives to such a solution, the only reason why we haven't done it is fear.
When it comes to illegal immigration as a whole, however, I am not sure how I feel.

Legalise and regulate harmless drugs like cannabis and lsd.
Illegalise and brutally punish harmful drugs like heroine and meth.
Anyone who disagrees is a wing nut.

>>7 I'm a macadamian and I still agree twerp twerp lol.
and what will happen to the Taco Bell employees that are working in medium to large cities... Oh that's right they'll have to go on the government programs to help pay the rent.. yes that'll be perfect!
Quit assuming that if we let business cut their overhead they'll be better, they'll simply shift 100% of the reduction into the profit taking and invest 0 back into expanding their product. The problem with illegals has far less to do with our practices and far more to do with Mexico being a hell hole. Do to Mexico what we wanted to do in Iraq, heck the even got some oil.

If they made it easier for illegals to become citizens then they have all worker rights like Americans and I'm sure there is many people lobbying against that. Many illegals that are here for real work are the ones fighting for the right to become citizens easier because of the horrible work conditions they are in now.

Well, if you're going to eliminate federal minimum wage and just that, then I agree, it won't work. You would also have to eliminate regulations that squeeze the little small businesses out of existence. But the big corporations will lobby tooth and nail to make sure that that doesn't happen.
