The Problem with Greece

Name: Anonymous 2010-05-05 12:16

It goes without introducing but Greece is on fire and has been burning for months.  This thread can discuss the cause of this disaster - fatally clinging to a sense of entitlement that caused their loss of "ensured" entitlements in the first place, I'll toss it out - but the real question I have is can the problem be socially and financially contained.

The current plan to bail Greece out, in exchange for internal cuts in Greece's entitlement structure, risks all associated governments being dragged under the bus if the plan fails to resurrect Greece.  Even if it does work, the rioting will continue, inducing further disaster to the nation and causing financial problems with a lack of investment and security.  Could, however, Greece be disconnected from the economic webbing of the rest of the EU and the world, allowed to collapse, and the the social and financial unrest of the country be completely contained?

At this point, it appears as if the only parts of Greece still work saving are the parts built around the start of the common era.

Greece is the new Portugal.

Portugal was one of the richest and scientific countries in Europe. They took on slaves and their economy and average intellect dropped as they dispersed themselves into the community dropping from a forefront country in knowledge to a sub-par one (for European standard).

Greece has become more "negroided" or "niggerfied" though through immigration over many decades not slavery. This is their major cause.

What kind of fire extinguisher do you have in your kitchen for Greece fires?

Don't hate me for thinking of it before you could.

Two of them occur at the same time, you can just double tap, its like it only has 2 e's in a way, if you know what I'm saying.
