According to Houston police, Sellars used his Myspace account, which is no longer available, to contact a 15-year-old boy from Indiana. After they established a relationship, Sellars paid for the teen to fly out to his Houston area apartment, where he sexually assaulted the boy multiple times.

Sellars showed he was a real class act when the relationship began going downhill.

The boy reportedly received a MySpace message from Sellars stating: “I have HIV. You probably do too. Have a nice life”. The teen’s grandparents alerted police.

During a search of Sellars’ residence, investigators reportedly found child pornography in a briefcase and medical records stating he was infected with HIV. Records indicate Sellars knew of his condition before he abused the child.

Sellars was booked into jail and charged with possession of child pornography and “aggravated” sexual assault of a child.

The charge was enhanced to “aggravated” because Sellars used his body as a deadly weapon (HIV bodily fluids).

It is currently unknown if the teen has contracted the disease.
