Party Affiliations on American Voting Ballots

The above is a link to a post on my website that sums up my views on this issue:

When Americans go to vote for local, state, and national politicians, the ballots display the party affiliations next to their names. This allows people to vote party line without even knowing who belongs to which political party, because that information is displayed right there for their convenience. I believe such practices enable willful ignorance and are a detriment to the democratic process.
