What the fuck is wrong with this planet?

I'm only 23 and have only been paying attention to it for about 5 years, but I am already completely sick of politics. I just can't stand this bullshit anymore. It never fucking ends.

I have yet to see a single politician that wasn't a back-stabbing, lying, hypocritical asshole blatantly in the pocket of some industry or interest group.

Republicans, Democrats, even the so-called "independents" and third parties. All of them. All the same. It's all fucking bullshit.

What the fuck.

Obama seems like he's at least TRYING to fulfill his "Change" and "Hope" promises, but the closer I look, the more frustrated I get with the rest of the country. He's made some bad calls, sure, and I'll bet he's surprised to be making largely the same decisions as his predecessor on some issues, but at least he seems to be trying.

It was only during the past year or so that I really got into global politics. I thought, "surely the rest of the world can't be this bad." I was wrong. America may be the butt of jokes, but every other country out there has the same fundamental problems taken to different extremes.

I have come to the conclusion that the entire fucking planet is either stupid or insane. The human race is, for the most part, a vast herd of ignorant, irrational pricks. I've always had a vague sort of amazement at the stupidity of the masses, but only in the last couple years has it really hit me how massive the scale of it is.

If I could punch everyone on Earth in the dick, I would.

So that's the problem. But what's the solution? There isn't one. Not one that would bear fruit in my lifetime, anyway. We can only educate our children as best we can and hope future generations outgrow our bullshit.

I agree that war and man's normal inhumanity to man is already doing this job, but it's obviously not doing a good enough job (or people forget very quickly).  Therefore, someone really needs to come along and step it a notch like hitler did.  When you have a bogey man like hitler to kick around, people remember what true evil looks like and the effect of dissuasion lasts longer.  PEOPLE WOULD REMEMBER WATCHING THEIR LOVED ONES TORN APART BY FUCKING METALLIC MONSTERS THIS I PROMISE.

I wish I had the heart to do it myself.  It's a shame it turns out I'm too much of a liberal pussy to do what I know to be right.  You just can't pretend to be super villain, super villainy must be in your heart.  You must have a passion for it (like hating the jews, though I personally like jews).  It's not one of those things you pick up along the way, you're born to it.  But imagine, if we had hitler with an army of robots or mutant land dwelling sharks, how nice people would be eachother after that?  The museums to peace cataloging the horror that would prevent future generations from going down the same path that we could make?  The films starring Liam Neeson where he is a robot but works to save as many humans as he can we could have?  Not even to mention the series made by tom hanks about our struggle to overcome the "metal mother" as she will come to be called...

Though it's an interesting point that horrific events can shake people out of their complacency, it is still contradictory, especially if it results in the death or generally ruins the life of those you are trying to teach, not to mention hypocritical, it is also pointless to drag those who are not complacent into the carnage and there is also the fact you cannot judge if someone is complacent or not, you are also a fallible human being who makes mistakes.

George Washington when he left the Presidency warned that Parties would tear America to shreds. He was right. Bi-Partisanship is complete bullshit. Rather then say, "what would help the country?" policicians ask, "How can I make more money?", "Will I get reelected if I do this?", "Does my party support this?" etc.
This has been going on for ages. It is why Capitolism doesn't work. You have a government working for money, not the country. This is what communism and Marx wanted to fix, this also failed becouse it was to 'extream'. Now we have Socialism.
My Point is that Democracy is a great idea, much like communism. Then you get assholes who want more money, less taxes, more government programs and less government. So everyone knows you CAN'T do everything. Taxs and programs rise and fall together.
The Nazi's where an example of Democracies falts. Hitler was elected by the people. The jews were not killed by Hitler. He could not have killed millions of people alone. A genocide is an action by the people. Not a single person.
