It's funny how conservatives are more revolutionary than the liberals.

Dumb bitch is too stupid to use a teleprompter

Or is smart enough not to use one.

Palin

It appears you are mistaken.

Or that you are closed-minded.

I like how you said "Palin supporter" when it's you I'm opposing.

Riveting tale, lad. One for the history books, my boy! Also, don't get mad, Palin supporter.

I don't like Palin very much for my own reasons, thank you.  I don't very much like people who judge people based on their intelligence.

Sure, back-pedaling Palin supporter. You're so quick to defend her.

Name: Anonymous 2010-02-09 17:04

Did I defend her?

Yes, you've said in >>4 that "or is smart enough not to use one (a teleprompter)." This implies that Palin is actually intelligent, when her actions clearly show otherwise. She could not even finish her term as governor of Alaska. This is coming from someone who knows all these puppets that run for office are dumb.

You've been outed as a Palin supporter and later in >>10 you deny this. Just admit that you support her and move on with your life.

This fun.

But I don't.  I questioned your logic in declaring someone an idiot for using a temporary unconventional note system.  You seem caught up in defining yourself by whom you oppose; must everyone who offers opinions opposing yours necessarily like the people you dislike?

We can argue about what note taking system these puppets utilize all day long, however you implied that she was "smart" enough not to use a teleprompter when clearly she is not. Since you claim not to like or support her, you seem so quick to defend her use of this "unconventional note system".

Back to stormfront you go republican palin supporting redneck hick! http://www.stormfront.org/

You still seem caught on defending your practice of calling people stupid because they do something, but you haven't really defended it.  Just said "Stupid X is stupid because they did Y."  To your credit, I didn't pad my position out either, but neither did you answer it.  For the record, I just think she's a terrible politician: a little cleaner than most others but inadvertently throwing herself into unstable waters does not confidence make.  Her limited knowledge of foreign affairs is worrisome and unimpressive but surmountable (and good foreign knowledge doesn't seem to help other politicians much anyway).

Let's reconstruct your initial remark for the benefit of my understanding: why is Palin stupid, why is not using a teleprompter stupid, and/or why is writing notes on your palm stupid?

>>17
At least that explains what the "Stormfront" is.  I thought it was a tripfag's name with the way people derisively refer to it.

OK.

why is Palin stupid
Well gee, she couldn't even handle being governor of Alaska, and she was running for office of Vice President? Oh boy.

why is not using a teleprompter stupid
It's not. But neither is using one.

and/or why is writing notes on your palm stupid?
I never said it was.

I've found it hard to decide whether Palin's abdicating governorship is more good than bad or bad than good.  On one hand, and this is a big hand for me, it doesn't show much for her leadership or her reliability.   Cutting and running doesn't paint a good picture of her durability, regardless of whether she held her own against her detractors or not.

On the other hand, there were minor legal clogs trying to be lodged into the Alaskan government from the number of attempted investigations/lawsuits/other against her.  Some may have been legitimate; most seemed frivolous.  Leaving office might have been a good thing for the government of Alaska, not just necessarily for her.

As far as basic intelligence is concerned, she doesn't seem worse than your average house wife, though that just means normalcy.  She gets a bonus in that she is/was at least smart enough to know how to get elected.  If I wouldn't trust myself with such a position for that reason, I mean ...

Also, good call: you never did say anything about writing on hands being stupid.  Bringing it up was my fault.  I still hold that your remark, not using a teleprompter makes her stupid, or that a teleprompter requires intelligence to use, is nonsensical.
