All lolicon/shotacon/toddlercon is going to be deleted over the coming months/year. The reason it will take so long is because there is a ton of content that has to go. Why you say? Well the reason is because such content is fastly becoming illegal the world over, there are currently a handful of countries that put lolicon on the same level as child pornography and prosecute its posession and distribution to equal effect, and while it is debateable, because there is no real children involved and there are certain artistic merits etc; if the law says its illegal then its just illegal.

How do you feel about drawn shota/lolicon material? Is this another step towards a nanny state? How can they ban something imaginary?

I think pedophilia is in the same realm as homosexuality, and is an abberant genetic condition that the people honestly can't help.

With homosexuality, you can turn a blind eye to it because it's two consenting adults, pedophilia involves children who are unable to give consent, and therin lay the problem.

The question becomes, does loli and fake "art" excite the urge and drive them to commit the unforgivable, or doe sit release pent up desires, allowing the individual the exert more control?

I think banning this stuff will do more harm than good in the end.
The best way to deal with these "undesirables" is to remove them from the genetic pool, you can either be barbaric about it (round them up and imprison/kill them), or be civilized about it (provide loli sex machines so they never get a chance to reproduce, and have an outlet for their behaviour that doesn't harm anyone).

It's a tough subject, and all solutions that do anything to help are unpopular with the public at large.
