Any liberals want to explain why he's such a pussy?

Name: Anonymous 2009-09-18 19:17

Any conservatives care to provide a relevant argument supported by evidence? Or would you rather continue trolling the planet with trivial diversions?

Neither did any past president.  Guess we're all pussies these days.

Actually, wait, we ARE all pussies these days.  Not related to your genocidal fantasies, though.

Won't stand for his political beliefs;
Iraq/Afghanistan
Gitmo
Continued bailouts
no increase in government oversight on anything
Abandons goverment health plan

Won't/Can't formulate a stance on global issues;
NK: No comment
Iran: No comment
Afghanistan: Adding troops? No Comment.
Iraq: No Comment
China Debt: No Comment

What has he truely done in his first year?

Bailouts and a stimulus plan (that wasnt really even his work - all congress) Thats about it, maybe he will get the Olympics?

Better than Obama.

It wasn't the time.

Better than Obama.
They're both one of the same. Not of them is "better" than the other, they're both for expansion and increasing the size and scope of government. Bush during his two terms increased the size of the Department of Education, and created the Department of Homeland Security which created an even bigger bureaucracy that is not even fully operational yet.

Not to mention being a warmonger and plunging the United States in yet another war declared by UN resolution that is continuing under the Obama administration.

All in all, Bush was just another Lyndon Johnson in Republican clothing.

Bush was slightly better because the technology used to oppress people wasn't as advanced a year ago.

Name: Anonymous 2009-10-05 9:08

If he had the means, I'm sure he would have used them. So, still no better than Obama.

Because THE MAN pays him to be an indecisive distraction while the real business goes down behind closed doors.

Morally, maybe, but in pratice, no, and I'm a pragmatic man.

Name: Anonymous 2009-10-06 8:02

Who is "the man"? I hear "the man" this "the man" that all the time but no one actually names one of these men by name and clearly states what they are accusing them of, let alone provide evidence.

Won't stand for his political beliefs;
Iraq/Afghanistan
Gitmo
Agreed about gitmo. But I don't see how he hasn't stood up for his beliefs in Iraq. Last I checked he did set up a time table for withdrawal.
Continued bailouts
no increase in government oversight on anything
Bullshit. Banks are monitored much closer now and new restrictions have been passed.
Abandons goverment health plan
Also bullshit. He hasn't abandoned anything.
What has he truely done in his first year?
He got Congress to start writing a health care bill and set up a time table for leaving Iraq.
Won't/Can't formulate a stance on global issues;
NK: No comment
Iran: No comment
Afghanistan: Adding troops? No Comment.
Iraq: No Comment
China Debt: No Comment
That's also bullshit. He's commented on all of those. Pull your head out of your ass and form a real argument.

Remember, he campaigned back in 2000 against Al Gore on the basis of "morals". His "morals" brought us such wonderful legislation like the Patriot Act. And now congress is pushing for the PASS ID Act which Obama has support for. Bush supported the REAL ID Act of 2005, which is more or less the same as PASS ID now.

There really is no difference between these two Presidents as far as I can tell. Obama is pushing for universal healthcare and his Democrat party is behind it. But the same would happen if Bush was pushing for it and his Republican party would be in support of him. Same if McCain was President right now instead of Obama.

They're both modern liberal politicians, there is almost no true  old Conservatives or true classical Liberals in Washington anymore.

Don't change these.
