We should have the freedom to say NIGGER and FAGGOT and the freedom to hate and even "incite" hate. People can discern and judge for themselves how to react, don't censor opposing viewpoints.

It's not the term that was pejorative but attitudes toward niggers. Even reasonable people like Mark Twain used the term aplenty.
Fifty years from now the term "African-American" will be regarded as a racial slur, which is a progress in leftist thought. What is the actual goal remains uncertain.

Leftists considered the nigger inferior, thus they invented the negro. The negro was still inferior in their eyes, thus they invented the black. After that came the "African-American". Surely something will come after that, because the leftists still consider the nigger inferior.
