I'm no racist and I don't understand what's his problem with Jews, Slavs and people who paint skies green and fields blue, but goddamn, that was an awesome man. They don't make politicians like that anymore. He wanted to create a new world, a new human race. All you can expect from contemporary politicians is that they want to raise or decrease taxes by 0.6%. Maybe it's just the times we live in. Stalin and Churchill were pretty cool too. Roosevelt otoh was pretty lame.

Pretty close to utopia!?!  Well I guess that depends on your values.  I would think that the first qualification for a utopia would be freedom; the ability to voluntarily participate, or to walk away.  But we can't walk away anymore.  There is literally no place left to go.  Those of us lucky enough to live in the developed western nations live in a gilded cage that sinks deeper into a Huxleyan distopia everyday.
