The USA a wingless democracy?

Name: Thomas Braun 2009-08-17 11:11

Hiya!

Why is it, everytime I hear democrats or republicans talk, I only hear delegations of Pepsi and CocaCola talking about the advantages of sweet, brown drinks?

Am I lost?

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-17 15:58

I prefer RC Cola

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-17 18:34

We are all lost.  At least you are able to see.

They are the same thing with few ideological differences and only exist to give people the illusion that they have free choice. We're fucked basically.

It's obvoius. They all have the same martinet. Money!

The biggest problem with democracy is the voters, not the system.

Well, good thing the U.S. is a Republic then.

The biggest problem with a republic is the voters, not the system.

>>8
Well the Republic protects the people from the tyranny of the majority by upholding law. So yes, voters are a problem, not the system itself, I agree.

Which voters should be killed?

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-18 3:05

Dumb down the people, and the government can run amuck. It's a systemic flaw in democracy, a flaw that can only be exploited with the mass media technology we have today. The last best hope of preserving our republic is a free internet. If we lose that, we have nothing.

Well said!

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-18 5:17

>>10
What? Who said anything about killing anybody? You're a horrible person for asking that question.

>>11
Completely agree.

Hear Hear!

Same person.
>>13
Why? I'm not forcing you to kill anyone, all you have to say is "none".

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-19 4:39

The solution is state withdrawal from federation.

Can't we wait until the number of women equals the number of men?

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-19 6:48

>>16 Instead, politicians are moderating the resolution of the USA into the NAU, melting together Canada, USA and Mexico into one big colossus of opaque relations of greedy elites.

>>14 here.  You're wrong.  Stop trying to be clever.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-19 15:52

I merely wanted your opinion on the matter, if I t'was too exuberant then you should have just given the word and I would correct myself and merriment and good times would be had by all.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-19 16:16

Perhaps you misunderstand.  I was only responding to your saying that I (>>14) was the same person as >>11, >>12, or >>13.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-20 10:38

>>21
Here is a bit of confusion here, I was under the impression that >>14, whom I now know isn't you, was the same person as >>9 who was suggesting that we kill certain people so they don't vote.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-20 14:37

>>22
Actually, >>9 here, I was >>9 and >>13 I don't advocate killing people, but voters remaining uninformed can very well allow the Republic to collapse. Major media is a very powerful force and must be taken into consideration.

Sometimes when I enter an empty public bathroom, the James Bond theme automatically starts playing in my head. Dum da da da Dum Dum da Dum da da da Dum Dum  Dum dadaaa da da daaaa...

Sometimes when I enter this cubicle in a public bathroom I see a black cock slowly enter through a hole in the wall then slowly exit when it becomes apparent I'm just taking a shit and am not going to suck on it or insert it into my asshole.

Don't change these.
