Obama;"Americans are idiots'

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-09 18:08

...and if he really said that, you'd all be shocked

Why are politicians so fucking scared of saying this? They always mask it with "Republicans" or "Democrats".

"Right wing radio", "far left crazies", "extremist", these are all Americans, why separate the two? Americans are just as divided as anyone else in Congress. Just as divided, just as stupid.

By the way, tell the republicunts to calm the fuck down and stop screaming. That isn't discussion, that's fear and anger.

Thank you for being one of the sane people out there. I was starting to feel lonely.

I do a lot of traveling for work, 1/3 US and 2/3 overseas. As near as I can tell, a solid 90% of the planet is fucking retarded in general, regardless of politics or religion or anything else. Most people are irrational, willfully ignorant, bigoted, violent jerks. America doesn't seem to be *too* much stupider than the rest of the world, but they sure are more vocal about it.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-10 1:04

eh, discussion doesn't really work anymore. Americans should be fearful, and those who know well enough to be afraid, ought to be angry.

However, I do agree that all this divisive nonsense is ridiculous. Right now, the only divide in the eyes of Americans should be the Government and the People.

This.

"discussion doesn't really work anymore"

And I'm sure hanging effigies of congressmen and punching people in the face is totally going to make people see things your way.

"Americans should be fearful, and those who know well enough to be afraid, ought to be angry."

Baseless, fear mongering bullshit. Go back into your bomb shelter and stop sending these fucking tards into town halls screaming "NO WE CAN'T". Yeah, that's a great mentality.

I agree with you, I have been in several countries now, and there is this same level of human stupidity that is annoying.

I was born in a 3rd world country and always felt overwhelmed by the amount of division created there, the lack of brain everywhere to see that divided they have no chance against a few guys who have all the money.

I have seen USA slowly going to the same place as Dominican Republic (where i come from). If you see the elections in DR for the last 12 years you will realize that is the SAME parody that USA started a few years ago. "Second Round", "They are cheating", "wrong vote counts"...

I am not a paranoid enough to believe in reptiles dominating the world but There IS something going on with everybody in this planet. I guess a massive reduction of IQ... just go and watch youtube for 1 day and you will understand what i mean.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-10 4:26

If there's one more thing lamer than some hipster proudly proclaiming "LOL AMERICANS ARE STUPID" as if no one has ever said that before it's some butthurt failure blaming the world for his problems and saying "BAWW I HATE EVERYONE, HUMANS ARE STUPID, MODERN LIFE IS SHIT".

Spoiler: Technically we're not stupid, the problem lies with thought stopping emotions that over-power our ability to reason, usually a cycle of fear, paranoia and hate.

Spoiler: You're just as weak as everyone else. In the future when peak oil and overpopulation hit and things start to get desperate your poverty will exacerbate these hissy fits of yours and you will start to believe that acts of violence are justified against these "stupid humans". Kind of like how atheists in soviet Russia who believed religion is the root of all evil ended up creating their own personality cult revolving around Stalin and acting worse than the most violent crusaders, it's like the projection defense mechanism on steroids.

This is an example of #6's comment. Brainless piece of fearful shit making this country what it is becoming.

Do your research. So far, all of the actual violence has been started by people against the protesters.

Fear-mongering? I could easily accuse you of Hope-mongering.

When you actually have facts and information, instead of outright fallacies and name-calling, let me know.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-10 19:05

Who cares what he says? I know politicians think we are idiots. They play on that all the time to get elected. Way to bring up old news, Sherlock. Those detective skills will get you far.

"I could easily accuse you of Hope-mongering."

Do you honestly not see how mind-blowingly retarded that sounds?

Yeah I'm glad they tortured the shit out of that Jesus asshole, he was a real fucking hope-monger.

How about you show me your research, that shows anybody has jack shit to be afraid of. Last I saw there was data showing that less than 8 or 10% of the population was projected to opt for the public option. The argument from the right that it's going to overwhelm the private industry and drive up premiums is based on nothing. If this shit even manages to pass through all the 'socialism' hysteria, all we're going to end up with are poor people on a shitty public plan while the rest of us go on our merry, non-Orwellian way.

And a few hundred billion tacked on to the national debt but hey, fuck it.

H.R. __, Section 102, Page 16, Line 11.
"IN GENERAL.—Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day of Y1."

From the White House Blog Post "Facts Are Stubborn Things"
"For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will be able to keep them."

What the first quote says is that after the proposed bill goes into effect, no one new may register with a private health insurance plan. What the second quote suggests is that Obama is mincing words. You'll be able to keep your health care provider, but once you stop keeping them, you go on the state plan, for good.

2. http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/

There are your facts. Now who sounds mind-blowingly retarded? How about knowing what the fuck you're talking about before posting?

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-12 1:57

>>13
Taken out of context. "Such coverage" is referring to plans that do not meet acceptable coverage standards. So you can keep your shit plan if you already have it, but if you want to enroll in a new plan it must meet the standards laid out in the bill for afforability, essential benefits, consumer protection, etc.

And to add on to this post because I just saw the last line of yours... you're a fucking dumbshit.

Do you honestly think Obama would go around assuring everyone that they could stick with private insurance if it said right in the bill that it would be outlawed? Now there are a lot of knuckle-dragging retards in this country (See: you), but we're not all that stupid.

The right would be having a field day with this if it was true. However unlike yourself they actually read the fucking bill.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-12 15:02

the right is having a field day with it. Glenn Beck's always on about it.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-12 16:13

Well, now that we have a president with a reasonable intellect, being called an idiot doesn't sound so bad. It would sound bad if it came from Bush, but then again, everything sounded bad coming from Bush.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-12 17:34

Glenn Beck is a whiny, psychotic, little man. His opinion is irrelevant. However, I do agree that what Obama is pushing for is not the way to go.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-12 20:24

That's because Glenn Beck is a fucking lunatic.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-13 4:11

>>19
I take it Glenn Beck stated a fact you are fearful of.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-13 14:09

>>20
No. Glenn Beck discredits things by acting like a psycho. There's people out there whom agree with the same ideas, however the big difference is they don't act like nutcases.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-13 18:52

>>20Glenn Beck stated a fact

lol

I'm still loling over him saying that Obama has a pure hatred for white culture.

This was a day after he had country performers in the white house, BTW.

>>9When you actually have facts and information, instead of outright fallacies and name-calling, let me know.

No, YOU let ME know

Fact is, a lot of these claims ARE "fear mongering". The constant fucking claims that you're gonna DIE is absurd. The comparisons between socialized healthcare and fucking Nazi Germany are retarded and come from brain dead idiots.

Look, I personally think that they're trying to rush it and not thinking it through, so I can see why the opposition would be pissed, so let's debate.

But you can't debate what is a complete lie and just false.

Also, I lol at all the people quoting the constitution and claiming that it says nothing about healthcare

It also doesn't say anything about social security or banning crack, but hey.

Which makes Federal involvement in either of those things unconstitutional; any proposal of laws for such things is high treason.

Thank you, drive through.

You're so right. What an objective and level headed individual.

Gimme a fucking break. The guy is either batshit crazy or pretends to be for attention. Most likely the latter just like Limbaugh, Coulter and every other pseudo-conservative pundit who whores themselves for the attention of the southern, ultra-conservative evangelical lunatic constituency.

Didn't you see all the hysterical screaming obama voters? Or were you one of them and that's why you think it's normal?

Pot meet kettle, shiny mirror, exploding irony meter, etc.

Lefty, tree-hugging hippy crazies want to take taxpayer money to save things (poor people, the planet, etc). Righty, military-crazed  evangelical hicks want to take taxpayer money to kill brown people.

Don't change these.
