Why do people still believe in the Holocaust?

Can someone please explain to me why everyone's expected to agree with the official story about 6 million Jews being killed under the Third Reich?  I mean, in many countries, it's criminal to even *question* the idea that something might be wrong with that claim.  And you basically get blacklisted everywhere for doubting it, being labled as a denier.

I've done some research on this, and there's actually a pretty solid case that there was no so-called "Holocaust".  One that I agree with, in fact.  Here's an example of an excellent debunking:

So, with a case that solid, why is it such a big deal?  Why do people believe that there was a Holocaust?

People have different opinions on things. People always will as long as semi-free thought exists. Just accept that fact and grow up already. Stop whining about innane bullshit that does not matter.

Not all died in auschwitz, many died of starvation in ghettos and "collateral" damage during the war.

It's my belief that laws which make questioning the Holocaust illegal actually do more to help these tin-foil kooks.  The truth typically does not need laws to defend it - only lies do.  That makes the Holocaust immediately suspicious to many people.

That said, I still believe that it occurred, largely as depicted in the mainstream historical record.  These laws were passed out of emotionality rather than any sound reasoning or legal basis.  The guilt-ridden western democracies just shoot themselves in the foot by encouraging anti-Semitism with such laws.

In Nazi Germany, you couldn't say too many nice things about Jews, or else.
In Western Europe today, you can't say too many nice things about Nazis, or else.

I see a pattern here.

The most intense hatred is often found between peoples that cannot live with just how similar they are.
- Christian nutbags hate Moslems. Moslem nutbags hate Christians.
- Jewish nutbags hate Moslems. Moslem nutbags hate Jews.
- Commies and Nazis hate each other.
- Nazis hate Jews.
...etc...

The Communist regimes, when teaching their school children, couldn't go into much detail about why the Nazi regime was so bad (censorship, Hitlerjugend, thought police, kz camps etc), without also describing themselves (censorship, Komsomol, thought police, gulags, etc). So they had to resort to superficial differences (swastikas, rune-lookalike logos, choleric-sounding speeches, etc).

The Jewish scriptures (Torah, Talmud, etc) have this nasty tendency to forbid intermarriage. Do not pollute thy pure Hebrew blood, or else.
The Third Reich had similar laws some 2-3 millennia later.
In fact, the 3rd Reich was actually the last ones on that "genetic hygiene"-bandwagon. It was just the fashionable thing to do at that time.

I have pictures of relatives who died in the Holocaust. Do I believe it happened? Yes. Do I give a shit? No.

And no, you don't "believe" in the Holocaust, or any major historical event for that matter. It's an event which you acknowledge the existence of based on verifiable historical facts, not blind faith. As for debunking, people can make whatever claims they want and try to get people to pay attention. But the historical evidence is completely clear: the Holocaust occured, and to the extent most commonly depicted.

Imagine the US Government making it illegal to say "9/11 was an inside job."  People would shout even harder that the claims are true.  Removing a youtube video gets more people to post the same video.  Restricting the rights of gays or blacks creates more effort against those restrictions.  Resistance creates opposite resistance.

The question is not "why do people still believe in the Holocaust?"  The mass murders by the National Socialist regime in Germany were well documented.  Mass graves were found, and so fucking what?  Woe to the vanquished.  The victors write history.

The question you should be asking is, "what makes the kikes so special that White Western men should have died for them, when four million White Christian Armenians were murdered by the Turkish government barely a generation before, to which the West's response was a deafening silence? when thirty million Ukrainians were machine-gunned by Stalin's kike-heavy NKVD barely a few years before the war began, likewise ignored by the West and outright denied by influential Western newsmedia (Jewsmedia) like the New York Times for decades afterward?  Why did six hundred thousand Americans have to die as mercenaries in the kikes' cause, a war to save the kikes from a fate they brought upon themselves?"

Why don't white nationalists stop making asses of themselves by saying the Holocaust never happened?  It's more credible to say "the media tends to glorify the Holocaust over other incidents of mass murder" and point out where and when this happens and how it should be stopped.  Then again, most white nationalist arguments are immediately labeled as whacko hate group theories, so maybe it's better to leave the arguments to the professionals.  For example, criticizing Israel works better when the person making the argument has no ties to white nationalist groups.  People who do have an association with these groups and argue against Zionism make it easier for the media to say all anti-Zionism is racism.  At least the Internet makes it easier to make arguments, but having the word white or blanc in your URL doesn't help with credibility.  The general masses should be the ones finding the Holocaust industry distasteful.
