Wut? No Iran protest threads?

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-16 18:17

Why aren't you guys talking about what's going on in Iran right now?

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-16 21:13

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-17 0:39

It's a power struggle between the oil barons who want control over foreign policy so they can inflate the price of crude and Iran's growing diversifying economy.

Where's my vote?  Have you seen it?

It was counted, you just lost the election. Get over it.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-19 11:17

I like it, they're rioting in their own country now. Usually they do this stuff in Europe.

a power struggle
Shut up jew.
Nobody buys those marxist shibboleths anymore.

Oy vey iz mir! That shook me out of my complacency! I dropped my bagel!

Seriously though bro, this is what this shit usually boils down to. My thought process is machiavellian or hobbesian, not marxian, in fact it backs up the general criticism of marxism being starry eyed head in the clouds idealism.

But yeah, whatever.

To commenter #3:

You said:

What? The people of Iran are protesting against their own government. There are no foreign parties involved.

Where did I say foreign parties were involved?

I'm a dinner jacket screwed up even when oil was $150/barrel.

Also why is "barrel" abbreviated "bbl."  There is one b.

Yeah well, the only reason why 4chan doesn't talk about it and doesn't join the ''internet revolution'' is because they're not the one starting it.  4chan wants the merit for things they do, when they can just back up and find a little something to do their minimal part, the egotistic rush won't be enough justify  a move from their lazy ass.

What else could it be? They're anonymous, they're the king of the internets and they have something against authority and power. Why don't they join? Hack some site and put the story on the front. Or shit. Move your ass!

4chan wants the merit for things they do

Don't lump ALL of 4chan into that category. That's just mostly those who have no understanding of anonymity. If they were truly "Anonymous", they'd just do things and take no credit whatsoever, instead of being stupid ATTN whores.

GREAT IDEA BRO, LET'S CRACK OUT THE GUY FAWKES MASKS, IM SURE AHMANIDAMINJIHAD WILL GIVE A FUCK

Anon is not your personal army, anon is totally amoral and apathetic, if the US descends into some kind of fascist state in the future you can be sure that most ex-/b/tards will be in large part responsible for the turn of events.

I just love "the watchers council" or whatever they're called:

"This election was fair and just. ...like every election has been in the past. In fact, this election was ESPECIALLY fair and just."
"Yes, we admit that there has been many districts in Iran where the number of votes has exceeded the number of voters, but they're much FEWER than the oppositions claims. Did we mention that this election (in PARTICULAR) did not involve ANY form of rigging (such as adding votes in favour for the winning party)?"

I mean I know that Iran's not very educated, but are those statements supposed to fool anyone?

I saw they were running The Lord Of the Rings of State TV to get people to stayin :

As long as we have ACORN manufacturing phony absentee ballots by the million, we need to shut the fuck up and stop criticizing any other country's election irregularities.  We have zero room to talk and zero authority to criticize until we clean up at home.

Isn't it amazing how Republicans always blame Democrats for doing what they always do?

Go ahead, tell us about how you're the party of fiscal responsibility and marital fidelity again!!

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-27 23:12

Actually, Republicans quite frequently fail to blame Democrats for doing what Democrats always do.  For all that the Democrats are terrified of them, the GOP has for generations been a disorganized, timid, ineffectual party.

Ineffectual? 8 years of Bush wasn't a success?

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-28 6:03

Bush
success

I lol'd.

While Iraq has improved greatly since their dark days under the leadership of Saddam Hussein, Bush has failed horribly on the domestic front. It's time the focus went back to the United States itself, rather than maintaining the American empire overseas.

Ahahahaha since when was daily suicide bombings an improvement? Idiot.

1.
lol, QUOTE FAILURE

2. Way to bump a five year old thread, jerkface.

3. Study and look into how Iraq is today versus years ago. While I was against the Iraq war from the start,we're there now and might as well make the best of it and help these people. That is of course by not establishing permanent bases and withdrawing troops ASAP.

Iraq is under a civil war and what the American military needs to do is train the citizens to arm themselves and have them help themselves towards winning.

Ahahahaha since when was daily suicide bombings an improvement?

It's a civil war you moron, suicide bombings are inevitable, Jesus you're dense. The people who were against Saddam Hussein's regime don't go and blow themselves up.

The Iraqi people can finally embrace Islam now that they are freed from that Satanic dictator!

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-08 13:51

Are you seriously saying that Islamic Republic Iraq under Civil War is better than Iraq the secular state under Saddam just because some Americans are running around doing a shitty job at training Iraqi soldiers? Where is the improvement? Dumb cunt.

This "civil war" is nothing compared to the wars that lunatic Saddam got Iraq into...

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-08 20:40

You're correct.  You are also, however, feeding a troll.

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-08 23:02

No not really. Not at all. Not even the Iran-Iraq war caused this many Iraqi civilian casualties. During Saddam's reign nobody got killed for believing in some sect of Islam or being Christian. Mosques and Churches were not bombed every hour, how can you say it's nothing?
