The Palestinians are treated horribly throughout the entire Middle East, not just by Israel. Their culture isn't suppressed as the Palestinian zones are fairly autonomous within their areas. For 40 years the Palestinians have known nothing but violence as the surrounding countries have manipulated their leaders to do their dirty work.
