Import niggers and domesticate them. There will be a great need for hard and unrewarding manual labour once we hit rock bottom and you don't want to do it yourself, do it?

I would have a video game company but I don't feel enough people will be willing to pay for entertainment anymore.

Quite simply, he means that in time of trouble people often pay MORE for entertainment. Its human nature to want to escape from reality. In the great depression movies still did well. People like to feel they have more money than they do. They will sacrifice basic necessitates for entertainment. Look at drug abusers they sacrifice shelter, food, etc... for fleeting pleasure. If life was great we wouldn't need entertain because we would be naturally entertained. THUS the crappier life gets the more valuable entertainment becomes. Basic Business 101. Simple right?

The US will be more like China where everything is bootlegged and few companies can make money
It's not bad if you like independent stuff, but the big budget mass media will have to hold back on special effects and other luxuries. Most entertainment will be amateur, low budget productions on the level of Youtube videos.
The failure rate for new business is huge. Hence, starting one is only a destructive desire on your part. It milks what little savings you have, throwing you into despondency and eventual suicide (or law school, which is the same thing).

I'm not a retard, so I'm not just going to start a business for the sake of starting a business. If I have a feasible idea and am an expert in that sector of the economy I would convince investors to put money into it and in the event my business fails I will simply dismantle the business and say "sorry guys, looks like this won't work just yet" instead of sitting there wasting money until I am bankrupt.

But how do I convince them that the h-game h-manga h-anime sector needs infusion?

Predictably, you're out to milk "investors", not to actually run a business. I sense AUTO-FAIL approaching.

Investors expect you to sell the company or give ownership since they have controlling equity and you're their indentured servant until you can buy your freedom. That's why it's fun to beat the odds.

Oh I see, so every investment in the history of mankind has just been an attempt to milk investors. I guess that's why nothing has ever developed and we're still in the stone age.

Not if there are 100 independant investors each with a 1% stake.
That's more like a VC group, but most VCs are focused on later stage growth while seed funding is left to Angel investors, individuals who want to see the company make a profit by itself or sell it if it doesn't make enough.

People are usually reasonable, especially if there is money involved. Also I am not the kind of person to keep begging them not to close the operation even though it's hemorrhaging money.

Under our new socialist benefit package, I'd like to know what programs will help support my new business. But first I will have to change my race to black/mexican.
