In theory, if the former Yugoslavian states reformed under one flag, ruled by representatives from all the states (maybe even picked a city in the dead center of Yugoslavia for its capital) it would stop any possibility of war breaking out again? Even become an EU member and a European power? Is this even possible?

I know there is still a lot of resentment between ethnic groups. Myself as a Croat i cant honestly say i hate Serbians, and i know many of by Bosniak friends feel the same, but I've heard others say the could never forgive them.

I don't want this thread to into a race war. all sides did shit things.

lažljivac. Obvious Serb is obvious.

no one said it was equal blame. Serbia is obviously most at fault, but it isn't till all sides admit fault that anything will properly heal. Personally i would really like to see Yugoslavia restored. People may actually be interested in visiting our country (well theoretical country) if it wasn't in pieces. We have beaches in Croatia and Crna Gora and natural resources in Kosovo/southern Serbia, and a load of other things scattered through out the Peninsula. Until we all get out shit together, people will just think of us as dirty, war starting Slavs.
