Slave Revolt

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-03 2:29

My fellow anons, we are slaves. Each and every one of us. All nations of the world use a central banking system, which is entirely based upon debt. So long as the debt exists, we are forced to work for money to pay off our debts, which in turn is used to pay your debtee's debts, so on and so on. This all ends at your central bank (The Federal Reserve here in the US). The hitch is that when a central bank loans money, they expect it to be paid back with interest. But since they create all the money which exists in a country, it is not only impossible to pay this back, but at least one person winds up owing more than they earn. To combat this, we borrow more from the central bank, thus creating inflation and making everyone poorer as a result.

I've been told this for so long, and then I saw Zeitgeist: Addendum, which puts it much more eloquently than I can:
video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7065205277695921912

Some will doubtlessly say, "No one forces you to work." While this is true on the face of it, how do you have a place to live or food to eat unless you have a job? (Teenagers, Welfare recipients, those with rich parents, and trust fund kids need not answer).

So what do we slaves do to escape our masters? We revolt.

Same tactics, different targets.

First will be the banks and debt collection agencies. I'm providing here a link to Encyclopedia Dramatica with phone numbers. The purpose is to call them, inform them of what they're doing to the economy and the people of this country. All are accountable; those who work for them work for the oppressors, our masters. We shall not tolerate their capitulation with the enemy.

On April 15th, Tax Day here in the United States, we shall protest at the Federal Reserve Banks themselves (Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, Chicago, Saint Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas, San Francisco). The purpose is to let the world know that we will no longer tolerate their enslavement of a nation to benefit a few.

So, come anons. You have nothing to lose but your shackles and your freedom to gain.

And remember: We are anonymous. We do not forget. We do not forgive.

The central banks are the problem, in the USA that is the "Federal Reserve"

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-03 21:45

The Federal Reserve is destroying this country. I called a few of those numbers today. A supervisor told me never to call again, so I called right back.

VIVA LA REVOLUTION

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-07 17:57

Addendum should have been the first Zeitgeist, it actually has a well constructed argument with facts from the beginning rather than waiting to give the topic at the end in an attempt to tie in two poorly sourced theories with it.

Somehow libertarians playing revolutionaries makes me laugh.

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-11 8:58

labour is virture. you're not slaves.
what matters is moderate redistribution, which means abondoning what you call american dream whare a grasp of people monopolise the economy to become extremely rich.

it's not the matter of libertarians versus comunists. no dualism. the answer is somewhere in between. see northern europe and japan to find out how americans should live.

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-11 8:59

not virture but virtue. sorry for the typo.

Name: RedCream 2008-12-11 12:40

Libertarianism is, of course, infallible.

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-11 19:32

those who have have everything and those who haven't haven't anything.
that's what libertarianism only leads to.

that some are more equal than the others is what communism only leads to.

both results are merely identical.
libertarianism is as sinful and even anti-christ as communism is.

what a load of bs
and i'm going to back that up the same way you did: .

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-12 18:19

No one knows what libertarianism leads to, because it's never been tried.

Could it really be any worse than what we have now?

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-12 20:21

no single country has ever tried communism, either.

soviet union?
that was a marxist-leninist socialist country aiming to be ready for communism.

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-13 0:41

I think >>12 is equating libertarianism to anarchy which, given human nature, would only last until someone (or an organized group of someones) gets enough weapons/resources/allies to bully everyone else into doing what they want

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-13 14:07

>>15
socialism is a required step towards communism though and since this part of the transformation of society blows you know what you can expect from communism

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-13 22:03

>>17
as for the latter, same is applied to Bush's libertarian globalisation.

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-13 22:16

what we ought to establish is not the globalisation of libertarianism but the one of financial regulation, or those who have will monopolise the jungle economy. if that's what you call the american dream, the US is a country of a bunch of mammons.

What the hell? Have you ever lived in a socialist country? I have, and i do. I have a got a free education, free healthcare, i get money if im unemployed, the spare time clubs/public groups /political parties are given money depending on members, and ohh yeah, not only is my education free, right now im getting 900$ / month for taking it ^_^

Socialism wins over your capitalistic greed that has brought about the current financial crisis.

Motherfucker.

and you're not living in a socialist country, retard

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-14 10:22

And the soviet union failed.

welfare state and socalism are two different things
your country functions on the principles of market economy
looks like those $900 didn't help you in your education at all
if i ever need an example why nanny states suck i'll link to you

you must be too young to be conscious during the soviet era.
the soviet union is one of the most corrupt countries in the human history. there, some were more equal than the others.
maxist-leninist socialism decay as much as libertalianism does.

I really hope ED bans your IP for making bullshit, unfunny articles.

Some day, you will realize that libertarianism is as dead as communism, and that it too should be on the ash heap of history.

You will also realize that inflation is a natural occurence of free economic activity, and is unavoidable. The US has had overall a lower rate of inflation in the years of the Federal Reserve's control of the money supply than when it was merely attached to the gold standard. Having a central bank in firm control of the currency is the only viable way to operate a monetary system in today's economy.

I take it some emotional trauma (most likely bullying at middle school) has motivated you to delude yourself into thinking you are luke skywalker or some stupid shit defending "jews" from all the evil libertarians who are secretly troofers who believe mein kampf and the protocols of zion?

Well. It's all bullshit. In fact the opposite is true, you've mixed up cause and effect. Because the libertarian party is unlikely to succeed very few of it's members are motivated by personal gain and because it is subject to so much criticism it's members are open minded.

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-25 20:07

Emotional trauma? I'm just tired of all the racists getting away with bullshit arguments, and not having anyone present the logical answers that deflate them. It will get real interesting in here as time goes on and all of their "proof" disintegrates. Then we can see them for what they really are: a bunch of puffed-up, hate-filled internet tough guys.

I fail to see how these economic questions have anything to do with race. Obviously you are just dragging all this into the equation as you have no rational argument.

You are not Lenin.
This is not tsarist Russia.
You'd probably fail a basic economics class.
Go back to bed.

You are not Lenin or a Bolshevik.
You are, I can guarantee, not living in tsarist Russia.
You would probably fail a basic economics class.
You would probably pass a basic class of remembering slogans.
Go back to bed.

You are a failure because of your own lack of intelligence and motivation, not because of capitalism.
