Why do Republicans constantly complain?

Name: Anonymous 2008-11-12 15:41

I remember during the Clinton years they would whine about the president and come up with any reason to impeach to him.  It made watching politics a pointless exercise in listening to old people whining, along with the unending jibberjabber of talk radio that only serves to make listeners paranoid as they succumb to the same holier than thou thought process.  I learned more about politics watching Duck Tales.

It's their political philosophy. Blame everyone else for anything bad happening, if that fails just call it god's will.

Fail less, both parties do it.

Both parties do it while NOT in power.
So when there's a change over the mouthpieces of both switch from lapdog to attackdog (and back again)

For the same reason Democrats constantly complained under Bush and a Republican Congress. When out of power, they bitch. That's politics.

Fail question. The opposite party always does it to the party in office. It's called "opposing views".

The fact of the matter is, the Republicans ran a horrible, HORRIBLE campaign this election. I mean come on, Joe the plumber? And they ran with it? They have no reason to whine. While they were in the whitehouse they had absolutely zero tolerance for any bi-partisanship, for example Alberto Gonzales, stem-cell research and abortions. Yet now that we will soon have a new president they are already screeching about the Democrats being 'unfair' and partisan. It's sickening.

Repubs aren't stupid, they threw the election on purpose.
Would you want to be resposible for the coming Depression and not being able to fix it?
The next 4 years are going to be so bad, Repubs sweep House and Senate in 2010 , take back the White House in '12.

You won't see a Democrat in power for at least a decade and you won't see another black President for another 200 years.

If anything the republicans are facing a huge loss of voters with the close of the last election. Time will tell how long it'll take for them to heal, but I wouldn't assume it'd happen in a mere 4 years.

If we had elected Ron Paul, the country wouldn't be headed for disaster as it is now.

Republicans keep complaining about how they think Democrats complain so much..  how hypocritical

Right, we'd already be there. Moron.

They pulled back from Watergate pretty fast, and that was much worse than anything associated with Bush.

"Right, we'd already be there. Moron. "

If we keep trying to bail out the economy and shit it will only just make the final bubble bigger and bigger than it would be if we just let the market naturally correct itself.  It might prolong the state we're in now, but the cost will be a bigger burst when it eventually happens.

This is correct.  Ron Paul would have ensured that liquidation of bad assets would have happened speedily and with the pain being felt maximally by those responsible for them.  The U.S. Congress and Bush and Paulson and Bernanke are all working now to spread the pain to the maximal extent, which just ensures we're in a Great Depression II.  In other words, instead of just wiping out a few million residents and every wealthy fucker who participated in this huge scam of a market, the Neo-Cons and the Congressional Democrats are ensuring the everyone will either lose their savings or lose their jobs or lose their minds, or some combination thereof.  Our so-called leaders are now CHOOSING a Great Depression.  That's how they make YOU absorb some of the losses that their rich buddies would otherwise have to take.

But all that's OK, since you can just work until you're 80 instead of retiring.  That Wal*Mart greeter sort of job doesn't look to strenuous, right?  The poaster >>12 will have to put up with THAT.

Why do Republicans constantly complain?

Because Democrats are constantly shitty.

Name: Anonymous 2008-11-24 13:54

When the Democrats are in controll, the Republicans bitch.

When the Republicans are in controll, the Democrats bitch.

So to put a long story short, they both bitch when they are not in controll.

Don't change these.
