Official Conservatives=FAIL thread

It's only two weeks to the election, so we might as well call it.  How hard have the conservatives failed?  The whole retarded modern movement, built on the divisive platforms of Nixon and Reagan, is now in shambles.  Enjoy your FAIL conservatives.

Muah-haw-haw-haw

The primary failure of modern Conservatism in the USA was in becoming so enamored by their own electoral victory that they literally forgot to adhere to Conservative principles.  In short, they became corrupted by power almost immediately upon attaining it.

The secondary failure involved forming a coalition with the religifucks who are basically complete nutjobs.  Your coalition will never succeed in the long term when you try to gain votes through invitation to the utter crazies.

The tertiary failure is in failing to ever admit their own failings, even when those failings were so obvious that comedians found themselves in a golden age for the sheer material that was being produced by the average Conservative politician.

I'd rather have a conservative elected than the liberal populists we have today. At least they wouldn't perpetuate this nanny state.

It isn't conservatism that has failed. It is the people who failed to see what's best for them. Plus, most real conservatives turned into neo-conservatives now, so people are looking at the opposite side for a solution. But being progressive and collectivist won't solve anything, it only perpetuates the public dependency on the state-regulated market.

The right answer should be to recognize Washington is filled with liberals all over, with only a handful of real conservatives that stand for small government and fiscal responsibility, and vote them out. That will not happen anytime soon, sadly.

Too bad your "conservative" is nothing of the kind, and he and his ilk have expanded the U.S. government to the largest size ever, with the largest forms of bloat, EVER ... and yes, even after all those years of Democrat dominance and then having a President support the Dems.

However, perhaps I've wrong about the person I assume you're voting for (or being the person you're voting for in order to vote against Obama).  Perhaps you're meaning to vote for BOB BARR of the LIBERTARIAN PARTY.  Why, if that were the case, I'd be wrong, right?

Ergo, they're not true conservatives, and are not my kind.
I'm voting Baldwin.

Yeah, everybody. You've heard it here first: Dewey defeats Truman!

Don't change these.
