"There is no harsher critic on Obama than Biden"

Uh Ok? AND? Now Biden is his running mate. That's a *GOOD* thing. FOR. OBAMA. Why can the McCain camp do anything right? It's like they're trying to get a nigger elected!

No, having your VP who is meant to be your homeboy criticizing you isn't good.

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-23 10:43

Exactly, if Biden wants to be vice president he better hush hush.

You guys are wrong. The ability to respond to and work with those who criticize you is very important and makes Obama look like he's actually worth of being president. McCain is fucking this up@

Being able to respond to criticism is indeed a very laudable attribute to possess, but it is highly unlikely that this is the reason that Biden was chosen.

The vast majority of the voting public are as sheep, all looking for greener pastures but lacking the critical thought to find it for themselves.  They rarely question what they are told and after they see snippets of the #2 man questioning the #1 man's ability to lead, they will begin to ask "Is he good enough to be president?"-after the news media asks same-said question.  This new and unpleasant feeling that these people are experiencing, known to the educated elite as a "thought," will leave these people in a hysteric mess on election day most likely spent trapped within a pair of their own pants, when all you want them to do is go to the election booth and select "Democrat."

Now I'll ask you a question.  Why is it that after 7 and a half years of George W., and whilst running against a man reviled by much of his base for not being conformist enough, is Barack Obama only tied with John McCain in the polls?  If you reason that McCain is a fuckup, then most likely Obama is an even bigger fuckup.

I'm sorry, I *get* what you're saying. But this doesn't make any fucking sense. Maybe all this bullshit made sense before McCain started to run, BEFORE Obama chose one of his biggest critics as a running mate, the truth is...the McCain reaction to this and his generally his whole under proformance in this presidental bid has made me want to vote for Obama and not for the bullshit reasons you've presented. From where I'm standing, as an ALMOST EX-McCain supporter, Obama isn't a "fuck up". He's a nigger and him being a nigger is "The Reason he's still tied with McCain".

What I don't like is him being a nigger and pretty much running circles around the McCain camp. Are they just not taking him seriously and think they're gonna skate by? They are fucking this up and my head isn't so far up my parties ass that I don't see when we're basing an entire election on the hope that half the country won't vote for a nigger.

I was only attempting at why having a critical VP is generally seen as a bad idea, not why any one camp is worse than the other.  They both are equally ineffectual, but that is more of a result of trying to run "clean" campaigns with such flawed candidates.  The best response either side can muster is either "I was a POW for 5 years" or "McCain is Bush's 3rd term," because neither candidate has any substance or enough integrity to truly criticize his opponent without reeking of hypocrisy.  Biden was selected as VP because he's got the balls and indifference to his own reputation to run his mouth on why McCain would be a bad president even after having said he would make a good president, so at least I've got that to look forward to.

>>9
How has Obama proven that he has more sense than George W.?  He is certainly a better speaker than George W., but that's hardly a measure of intelligence.  Also please note that if you are just the typical piece of babbling European socialist trash, don't bother responding as your response wouldn't be worth the time it takes for someone to read it.

Why is McCain camping? Shouldn't he be giving speeches or something?

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-26 16:08

Excellent point. Also, how can his camp be retarded? Shoddy perhaps, but he's old, and you can't expect his camp-assembling ability to be as high as it was when he was in Vietnam. I'm sure he made great camps for the Vietcong back then.

As of right now, Obama is 3 points down in the polls. This coming right in the middle of the Dem. Convention. Whatever McCain is doing, it's working...

Oh, you mean creating ridiculous commercials that aren't based in reality, flat out lying about Obama's policies, covering up gaffes and mistakes by advisors by simply painting over them with fear tactics?

America sure is great.

Why hello there! Welcome to politics, how may I help you?

Individual voters have warped and extreme views, but when it comes to the crunch they tend to be moderate conservatives. McCain's best strategy is to show up Obama as a polariser with a small fanatical following that does not represent the population at large and to dismiss his claims of being a charismatic personality like JFK. Long drawn out arguments however do not change many people's views, he needs to communicate the message that Obama's main virtue is a bizarre personality cult in the most concise manner possible and without it looking like petty slander.

Problem with that though is McCain will stray away from his party base, whom already has criticized him for not being close to their core values. The moderate conservatives part only comes from the fact there are a lot of them in rural America, no thanks in part to pro-life-every-sperm-is-sacred ideology that keeps that group populating. This isn't 2004, the Republicans can't pull the "If you don't support Republican you are a terrorist" card, we aren't that stupid anymore.

It's politics, both sides said at the beginning they would play fair campaigns free of the "old politics" and mudslinging. Not even weeks later their aides and themselves started slinging mud at each other, because if one person does, the other has to otherwise they get mocked by oldfags for not playing the game.

American Politics. Whomever wins, we lose.

Factcheck.org is a non-biased non-partisan page that debunks political lies. They have several distortions from Obama's camp too. But all of the outright lies and false attack ads have been McCain's.

If you want another site that chronicles these, go to Snopes.com and check their Obama and McCain sections.

I did. He's not. However it might interest you to know that John SIDNEY McCain was not even born in the United States of America. He is a citizen of Panama, where he was born. Panama, the country that Libyan terrorists used to funnel money to their cells in the USA back in the 80s. There's a reason SIDNEY McCain crashed 5 US warplanes when he was in the military. He was deliberately sabotaging American aircraft. And while in his Communist reeducation camp (which he loved so much that he even declined to leave when offered the chance), he made many, many videos about how much he hated America and how America was an evil empire.

John SIDNEY McCain is a Panamanian terrorist and Communist manchurian candidate. Review his past and see the videos for yourself.

1, The Canal Zone was US territory until Carter gave it back.  Children born to US citizens within its boundaries got automatic US citizenship same as if they'd been born in any other part of the US.

2, Libyan terror money funneled through Panama?  I think you mean Cuba, don't you?

3, put down the crack pipe and go cuddle your Obama plushie some more.
