Im going to vote this year

I'm not sure who to vote for. It seems like Obama is going to get the most votes because people don't want to vote for another Republican. I have no idea what either of them are going to do if they are elected so can Polotics please help me make my decision. Give me good points for both of them.

Voting for Obama or McCain is a complete waste of your vote.  Have a good look at the third party candidates, since some of them are actually offering real solutions, rather than just more inane slogan spamming.

McCain can't even maintain a consistent political stance within a single speech, so I don't see the point in voting for him.

As it stands, most people are going to throw their votes at one of the two main candidates with out giving it much thought or understanding of the issues at hand.  They'll be blindly following party allegiance or so poorly informed they won't recognize the other choices.

If you cast your vote into the ocean of other votes for those two personalities will make no difference at all.  Your one vote isn't going to sway the election.

So, take your vote over the a third party candidate, make a statement and help add to their numbers.  If enough people do this the idea of a third party candidate will sound more viable/reasonable for the next time around.  And maybe at some point down the line people won't have to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

If you haven't noticed already, the two party system has been nothing but a giant cluster fuck of fail and aids.  And that shit isn't going to change until people start doing things differently, like by not buying into false choices like Obama/McCain.

I'm voting for mccain a dozen times due to silly voter laws.
